The South Wales region

The Gower has some of the most stunning natural scenery was the first 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' to be designated in the uk in 1965. It is a much loved for its beaches, wildlife, and stunning coastal scenery and offers a wide range of recreations – from surfing, fishing, climbing, pony trekking, archery, and other outdoor pursuits.

The Gower also has a rich choice of entertainment with music bars, theatre and a variety of festivals throughout the year such as the Gower Folk Festival, and the Gower Walking Festival.

Pennard, on the Gower Peninsula has beautiful coastal scenery, sandy beaches, a castle, woodland and also cafes and a few shops/ pubs. Plenty to explore on your doorstep and also a great base to explore the rest of the Gower Peninsula. We are close to one of the most photographed beaches - Three Cliffs Bay, which is ten minutes walk away. Close to the coastal path, plus lovely woodland and a golf course, plus nearby shops and cafes. Nearby activities include: horse riding, rock climbing, fishing (for free) golf and more.

I enjoyed a few days in Pennard and found Three Cliffs Cwtch just what I needed, a good size and has a relaxing atmosphere. Nice, peaceful location in natural surroundings, great walks to Three Cliffs, and Pennard castle, plus lovely cafes and golf on the doorstep, (next time I go, I intend to go surfing!) It is well appointed with cute furnishings and an attractive garden. I also had a therapy session with Bel - very relaxing and helpful.
