Located in Snowdonia National Park, this pet-friendly cottage is set in a stunning, elevated position overlooking the rural village of Penmachno, with panoramic views of Snowdonia mountains along the horizon. Just 5 miles from Betws y Coed, the main tourist hub of Snowdonia, which offers a wide range of attractions, activities, unique shops and restaurants. Central to the mountains and lakes of the National Park and to the stunning North Wales Coast.

Ground Floor

The well equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, microwave and washing machine.

The lounge has brand new laminate flooring which is ideal for pets, a comfortable three piece suite, a television and a DVD player.

Upstairs

Bedroom 1 – Twin beds, wardrobe and dressing table and magnificent panoramic views.

Bedroom 2 – Double bed with wardrobe and dressing table and beautiful countryside views.

Bathroom with corner shower, WC and hand basin.

The North Wales region

This charming cottage is located on a farm in a spectacular unspoilt rural setting, two miles from the A5. Just 5 miles from your accommodation, the popular, scenic tourist town of Betws y Coed will cater for all needs and the Silver Fountain, the local pub is only 3 miles away.

Walking and cycling can be enjoyed from the door and the area is renowned for world famous mountain bike trails. Just a short drive / taxi ride away, Betws y Coed has a range of good places to eat including Ty Gwyn, the Waterloo, the Royal Oak and the Stables. The town which has its own station also specialises in high quality clothes for the outdoors. Indeed this popular area caters for everyone and horse riding, golf, fishing, canoeing, climbing and walking can all be enjoyed within a few miles of your cottage.

Other popular attractions include Swallow Falls, Tree Tops Adventure, the longest Zip Wire Ride in Europe at Bethesda, the famous Bodnant Gardens, Trefriw Woolen Mills, Conwy Castle and all the amenities of the coastal town of Llandudno. Llanberis Mountain Railway, the Slate Museum and both Caernarfon and Conwy Castles are also popular destinations.

For walkers there are unlimited forest, river, lake and mountain walks to suit people of all abilities. Some start from the door.

Snowdon – the highest mountain in Wales and the other fourteen peaks of Snowdonia which are over 3,000 feet are all within close proximity – 11 miles

Tree Tops Adventure – Set in 120 acres outside Betws y Coed guests can enjoy a Junior Tree Trail, a New Sky Ride Swing and a High Ropes Adventure Course – 5 miles

Indoor Climbing Wall at Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre for the UK & courses for all levels – 11 miles

Cycling

Mountain Biking – Cycle hire available at Beics Betws to experience the famous and challenging trails at Penmachno (2 miles), Marin (5 miles), Antur Stiniog (15 miles) and Coed y Brenin (22 miles).

Horse Riding

Riding available locally at Gwydyr Stables, Penmachno – suitable for all levels. 2 miles

Water-sports

Canoeing at Betws y Coed. 3 miles

Kayaking and canoeing including challenging white water can be experienced from Plas y Brenin 11 miles away.
