Betws y Coed is set in the heart of Snowdonia and has award winning restaurants, endless outdoor activities and numerous attractions. This 5 star self catering cottage also has a wood burning stove and is pet-friendly.

Spacious kitchen/diner with granite worktops, Belfast sink, large range style electric cooker and hobs, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, basic Sky TV and CD player. Dining area with wood burning stove in huge feature fireplace and large refectory table.
Beautiful lounge with satellite TV and DVD plus video. Two three seater leather sofas.
2nd Lounge with 2 cream leather sofas seats 4-5 satellite TV and integral DVD, Books etc.
Downstairs bathroom has bath with shower facility and toilet and wash basin.
Utility Room includes a large double door fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and plenty of hooks and shelves for coats, boots, shoes etc.
4 Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has king size bed, bedroom 2 has 2 x bunk beds, bedroom 3 and 4 both have double beds.
Upstairs bathroom has double shower with toilet and wash basin.

Large grounds extending to woods and waterfall and its own gravel beach onto gin clear river. Large gas barbecue with picnic table and seating for 12. Outside lights plus additional chairs and loungers dotted around the grounds. Even more seating provided by the river.

Free fishing included at the owner's own private 5 acre lake (20 minutes away), stocked with large brown trout. Boat with electric engine provided, plus 6 miles private fishing on the River Alwen with good sized brown trout.
Owners can also arrange hunting in season locally for guests staying at the cottage.
The North Wales region
This large, detached mill house is set in beautiful, tranquil surroundings, just 2.5 miles from Betws y Coed. Located up a quiet single lane road, it is surrounded by its own extensive grounds with far reaching views over countryside and river. It even has its own waterfall and a gravel beach onto the gin clear river.
Betws y Coed is set in the heart of Snowdonia and has award winning restaurants, a choice of pubs, grocery shops and gift shops. Llanrwst (6 miles) has a supermarket and more restaurants and pubs. The area offers endless activities from walking to mountain biking, fishing to water sports and golf to horse riding and tree top adventures.
Betws y Coed and the surrounding area also have numerous attractions such as Swallow Falls, Conway Falls, Fairy Glen, Snowdon with its Mountain Railway, Dolwyddelan Castle and Llechwedd Slate Caverns at nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog. And 15 miles away on the North Wales coast are Bodnant Gardens, Conwy Castle and Llandudno with its famous Victorian pier, beach, shops, ski slope, cable cars and much more.
River Lledr – Betws-y-Coed. Easy access to the river (opposite the cottage) with excellent salmon and sea trout fishing. 0 miles.
Llyn Bwlch – Cerrig y Drudion. Free fishing at the owner's private 5 acre lake, stocked with large brown trout. 11 miles.
River Alwen - 6 miles of private fishing with good sized brown trout. 11 miles.
Gwydir Forest to Pont y Pair Bridge – 5 mile walk starting from Betws-y-Coed. Suitable for all ages (2-3 hours). 2.5 miles from cottage.
Llanrwst Walk – Llanrwst. Easy / moderate 3.5 mile circular walk (approx 2 hours). 6 miles from cottage.
Geirionydd & Crafnant Lakes (passing Fairy Falls) – Trefriw. Moderate circular walk (approx 3 hours). 7 miles from cottage.
Llyn Cowlyd (Snowdonia Leisure Walk) – Trefriw. Moderate / strenuous walk (approx 3 hours). 7 miles from cottage.
Moel Siabod (Snowdonia mountain walk) – Capel Curig. Rewarding route for experienced walkers. 7 miles from cottage.
Carneddau (Snowdonia mountain walks) – Challenging walks, including the 2nd and 3rd highest peaks in Wales. Nearest route starts in Helyg, Capel Curig. 7 miles
The Glyderau (Snowdonia mountain walks) – Llyn Ogwen. Challenging range including 5 of the 14 highest peaks in Wales. 12 miles from cottage.
Betws y Coed Golf Club – 18 hole golf course, open to non members all year round. 3 miles.
Penmachno Trail – This 18 mile trail takes you through the scenic countryside of the Conwy Valleys. 1.5 miles
Gwydir Forest - Mountain biking with miles of forest trails, including the Marin Trail. Suitable for all levels. 3 miles from cottage.
Gwydyr Stables – Penmachno. Individuals or groups welcome. Fully trained and qualified staff along with the 30 horses to choose from depending on size and ability. 1.5 miles.
The Fairy Glen – This is a thrilling experience for the expert canoeists among you. 2km of the best hard sections of the British Isles await you along the Fairy Glen, Betws-y-Coed. 2.5 miles.
