Description from owner

Description

Our home built in 2008 is on a large natural landscaped lot with a massive cedar deck looking west over Swanson Channel. The home features a huge amount of glass to take advantage of the view and sunshine and still enjoy the privacy.

We look west where you can keep and eye on ferry traffic between the British Columbia Mainland and Vancouver Island. Wait for that elusive five ferry moment, the ferry to Salt Spring Island, to Pender, to the other islands and from and to the Mainland from Swartz Bay.

You'll also see freighters, pleasure craft and and if you are lucky our resident pod of Orca whales. Relax on the deck and watch the sunsets at the end of a day of hiking, kayaking, beach combing or golf.

The house is modern, all on one level with hardwood floors and loads of windows. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is a dream to work in.

We are located about a ten minute walk from our local Thieves Bay Marina a popular whale watching site. Close

Further details

This is our primary residence and is therefore very well equipped. The maple hardwood floors and double beds do not lend themselves to families with children. Ideal for one or two couples.

Further details indoors

The home is a private level entry residence with parking at the door. As soon as you step up to the entrance you look through to the view. The wrap around deck is ideal for summer barbecues or just relaxing. The master bedroom with its ocean view features a super-king bed, a rain-shower ensuite and patio doors to the deck. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and the main bathroom with tub and shower is steps away.Privacy is a key feature.

Further details outdoors

The deck wraps around the view sides of the house and has patio doors to it from the dining room, living room and the master bedroom. There are two "zero gravity" deck chairs plus seating for six more and a patio table with four more chairs.
