Location description from owner

The Wales region

Pembrokeshire is famous for having the only coastal National Park in the UK.Apart from some of the country's finest beaches, (Freshwater East, Barafundle Bay, Newgale and Tenby to name but a few) the countryside is beautiful. There's plenty to do in this fascinating county - walking, riding, fishing, golf, water sports boat trips etc. The award winning theme parks of Oakwood, Folly Farm & Heatherington are within a few miles, whilst a visit to the Monastery on Caldey Island is a must. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is over one hundred miles long with spectacular and varied scenery.

Pembroke

Close to Pembroke town centre with shops, supermarket, pubs and restaurants.Overlooking river near Pembroke Castle. There is a sports centre with pool less than one mile away and the nearest beach, the spectacular Freshwater East is about three miles away. In fact there are five or six lovely beaches within a fifteen minute drive of the cottage. Pembroke is also served by the Coastal Cruiser which is a reliable holiday bus service which tours all the local beaches on a regular schedule. The train from Pembroke takes you to Tenby in about twenty minutes.
