Omg! What a beautiful cottage! Was everything we hoped for and more! We fell in love and didn't ever want to leave! The beds were very very comfy!! Everything was in walking distance which was perfect, lots of lovely places to eat! We tried the high street fisheries and the crown inn for Sunday lunch, the pancake house and Rachel's tea room, recommend them all!! We was lucky enough to be in pately for the tour de Yorkshire! Which was so lovely seeing the community come together for the event! And we also had wonderful bank holiday weekend weather!! Will definitely be coming back again!

“Cosy, clean pet friendly cottage in great location”

Extremely well equipped cottage, with possibly the comfiest beds ever. Despite our visit coinciding with the beast from the east the cottage was really warm. We didn’t even need to use the log fire. Even the external games room was warm. A home from home.

Owner's reply: Great, glad we kept it warm and dry during the excesses of this winter.

Fabulous warm, comfortable, well equipped cottage. 2mins walk from the beautiful Pately bridge. Couldn't ask for more.

Owner's reply: Great, thank you. Glad it was a comfortable refuge especially in the bad winter weather we've had.

“Cuckoo cottage”

Our second time at cuckoo cottage for Christmas and we had a lovely holiday in this very well equipped and comfortable cottage. Super warm thanks to underfloor heating downstairs so we didn’t need the wood burner though wood was provided. We struggled with the cooker but the owner could not have been more helpful dispatching assistance late on Christmas Eve. Great location close to shops and good walks. Very comfortable beds and lashings of hot water. Pretty much as well equipped as you could possibly ask for. We’d certainly book again.

Owner's reply: Great feedback, thank you and glad we fixed things for you for a great Christmas.

“Idyllic cottage in heart of North Yorkshire”

Reviewed 16 Jul 2017

We had a wonderful week at Cuckoo Cottage. Very traditionally and homely. Beds super comfortable and kitchen decked out with every utensil one could ever need! Loved the location - visited such places as Haworth, Harrogate and York. Pately Bridge itself is just the most beautiful village. Recommend Rachel's Tearoom and the fish and chip shop!

Owner's reply: Delighted you had a great stay at the cottage and in Pateley.

“Wonderful”

A fantastic cottage. Well equipped with super comfy beds. The bathroom is fabulous with 'space age' technology. Only negative is that while parking is usually really easy but be warned it's not permit parking so if you're unlucky you'll find someone else outside your cottage leaving you stuck!

Owner's reply: Great, thanks, parking is what it is , but as the reviewer has said, usually it's easy and there's normally another space very close by.

“Brilliant”

Great cottage. Everything you needand more. The welcome pack was brilliant especially as I had forgotten to bring tea bags. Great base for Nidderdale. We had a fantastic week.

“Just wondeful!”

Such a pretty cottage with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Perfect setting for access to the dales for long walks and hill climbs.

Owner's reply: Thank you.
