“Lovely cottage”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2013

We stayed at The Old Chapel for a walking holiday with family and 2 dogs, the cottage was beautiful, furnished to a very high standard and with everything you could need. The surrounding area and views were lovely and we found it a relaxing place to stay.

Thank you so much for your great review, we are really pleased that you enjoyed your time at the chapel. Really grateful for your review. Hope to see you again

“Absolutely Fabulous Holiday Home”

The Chapel is in a fantastic location , the scenery through every window is amazing It is very homely and comfortable we did some great walks and will definitely return.

“Wonderfully relaxing location, amazing quality accomodation.”

Reviewed 2 Dec 2012

We had the most amazing short break at The Chapel. It is a wonderful conversion done to a high standard with all the home comforts you could wish for, which was especially appreciated for a late autumn holiday. The owners Kadie and Gary left the best welcome hamper we have ever had staying in a holiday let! We had a very relaxing stay and the location is amazing, so so quiet, we didn't hear anything but the occasional sheep. The 'upside down' build makes the most of the views on every side, which are stunning. We will most definitely be back!

Thank you so very much for your brilliant comments, we were so pleased that you had a wonderful peaceful and relaxing weekend. It so good to know that you really enjoyed yourselves and we really do appreciate you taking the time to review the chapel and sing it's praises, ( no pun intended )Of course you are most welcome to come back again. Once more Thank you K & G

The chapel itself has every home comfort you could wish for with a very thoughtful welcome basket from Garry & Kadie. We had a wonderful weekend and will definatley be making a return visit!

Thank you so much for your very generous review. We were so pleased that you and your family had a great weekend celebrating the big birthday and we are so proud of your comments on the standard and facilities of chapel. Hope to see you again. K & G

“A super property in a beautiful location.”

Reviewed 7 Aug 2012

We received a very warm welcome from the friendly owners who also provided a lovely complimentary hamper. The converted chapel was well equipped and very clean with outstanding views from every window. Whilst transport is a must because of the location, there are plenty of attractions to visit within a few miles. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this property as a fantastic holiday experience!

“Beautiful and peaceful location, The Chapel was enchanting.”

Reviewed 29 Jun 2012

The Chapel was a lovely retreat, the accommodation is well equipped and is to a high standard, the bean to cup coffee maker was a real treat. It has some lovely walks and Scar Reservoir is within easy walking reach. We had a great time and would stay there again.
