Deanfield Coach House is in the heart of the magnificent historic Forest of Dean, in the village of Parkend, this characterful Visit England 4 star gold property combines superb modern comfort with lovely original features, it backs onto cycle/walking trails and the Nagshead RSPB nature reserve, which is famous for the migrant pied fly catchers and carpets of bluebells along woodland trails. Cycle trails and walks are in every direction from the village, all woodland is managed by the Forestry Commission so no restrictions on where you wish to walk. In the village we have two pubs with restaurants, 2 Cafe's, Post office and stores which sells local produce, cycle hire and steam trains, an ideal place for activity holiday, such as Go-Ape just 1mile away, canoeing, rock climbing, or for a relaxing break in the countryside, with a cosy woodburner to add to the feel of perfection (free logs are provided). Puzzlewood, an ancient woodland, is just 4 miles away, with its increasing popularity

Parkend itself is superbly positioned at the heart of the Forest, putting many amenities within easy reach. Our location could hardly be better, as many regular visitors will testify.Deanfield and The Coach House back onto the RSPB's Nagshead Nature Reserve's Cycle and Walking trails. The famous Dean Forest Railway runs to this unspoilt Village. Golf, fishing and cycle hire are all nearby. Lydney, Coleford and Clearwell Caves are just 4 miles away.Places of Interest nearby are: Go-Ape, Puzzlewood, the international St Pierre golf course, Clearwell Caves, the Shambles Victorian Village, Taurus Crafts, the Dean Heritage Centre, Symmonds Yat, the Nagshead Nature Reserve and the National BIrds of Prey Centre. Dean Forest railway runs to this unspoilt village. We have cycle hire in the village of Parkend to make full use of our award winning cycle trails. Canoeing and abseiling are also nearby.
