Description

Sit back in this beautiful one bedroom, one bathroom appartment in the glittering Triangle d'Or (Champs-Elysée, Montaigne, George V).

Going down the Champs-Elysées, make it right on Avenue George V and try not to slip while looking at the windows that display the latest collections of the most finest and most élégant fashion houses of Paris. Simply follow the lights to find your way back home. Between the veranda of a traditional parisian brasserie and the japanese set up of a new trendy Spa, stands this beautiful six-floor building of the late 19th century. Some decades ago you may have walked past Guy de Maupassant getting out of the building next door, carrying drafts of his Bel-Ami in his serviette. Pass this great oak door and you already feel the quiet you have been looking for all day. Take your eyes of the marble, only to see the marvelous moldings that cap the doors. Pass this great oak door and you already feel the quiet you have been looking for all day. Take your eyes of the marble, only to see the marvelous moldings that cap the doors. Press on the 2nd floor and in the blink of an eye the doors of this perfect one-bedroom apartment will invite you in for the night.

Enter the leaving room and you will appreciate the cozy atmosphere. Everything you need for your comfort, you will find it within the 65sqm of this apartment. Your host is a young entrepreneur who loves to spend his spare-time traveling the globe, looking for the next Poker tournament to win. Your hostess has a creative mind and has decorated this place with taste. The iron-grey walls along with the thick curtains and the wooden floor let you play with your daily-mood. You will either feel late-cold-winter-night around the fireplace or sunny-summer-afternoon around a glass of rosé whether you leave the curtains open or not. A large window opens up on the Rue du Boccador where you hardly hear a car passing by. If the weather is unusual for Paris, you may be Lucky enough to enjoy taking your coffee while sunbathing on the balcony.

Feeling hungry already ? Go to the fully equipped kitchen and bake yourself a nice meal. No need to worry about annoying cooking smells invading the living room as the kitchen is on the other part of the apartment. Just close the door and open the windows on the internal courtyard, no one will complain. For a quick bite, no need to go to the living-room. The kitchen table will be a perfect spot to seat back and enjoy a fully-deserved treat. Later on, when the friends you have invited over for diner will arrive, you will be happy to share some good laughs and catch up on the old days around the living room dining table.

When you decide to retire to bed, you'll find a master bedroom equipped with enough wardrobe space for even the most shopaholic of travellers, and a bed fit for a queen, both in terms of size and for the quality of its luxuriantly inviting sheets. As for the bathroom, well, once you've sunk into the bath and tipped in some of our complementary Rituals bathroom products, the only thing tempting you out will be the prospect of wrapping yourself in the finest quality bath towels. There's even a separate toilet, so no chance of annoying demands to hurry up in there! Sneak under the blanket and close your eyes. You will need some energy because tomorrow you have so many things to do and see and you know that everything is walking distance.

Area

Celebrated as the home of Europe's heart and soul of fashion, Paris' Golden triangle is a delight to any carrier of the shopping gene, be it dominant or recessive. Boasting brands such as Prada, Sonia Rykiel and Chopard, any glutton is bound to have their desires indulged here. To catch your breath and let the lustre settle, why not pop into one of the many art galleries of the Avenue Matignon for a quick infusion of artistic stimulation? Or for some classic, down-to-earth touristing, fancy a 5-minute stroll before trotting down the Champs-Elysées?
Exclusively situated a few minutes away from the acclaimed George V Palace – which boasts a prestigious 1st position in the Conde Nast Reader's Travel Award's listing of Best Hotels in Europe, Asia, and Russia – the hotel's esteemed 2 Michelin-starred restaurant is but a mere few seconds from your doorstep…sipping champagne and munching langoustine with caviar in the garden, anyone?
