Most importantly, the studio has an exceptional location: 2 typical Parisian open markets are within 2 minutes walk(Poncelet and Bayen), the most popular avenue in the world Avenue des Champs Elysees is close by

In addition there are many convenient transport connections. 3 metro stations are within 300 meters (Etoile, Pereire, Ternes), 2 RER stations A and C which drive you directly to Versailles, the AIR FRANCE shutlle bus stop for Roissy Charles de Gaulle and for Orly Airports, the bus stop for Beauvais Airport at Porte Maillot , and just in front of the building the 92 and 93 bus stop for a direct connection to the left bank (Eiffel Tower, Saint Germain des Pres...)

If you are arriving with EUROSTAR at the station Gare du Nord, you have a direct metro M2 direction Dauphine and you stop at Ternes it will take 20 minutes and you will have to walk 5 minutes to reach the studio

A wide selection of restaurants are also situated close by serving traditional french food and many other styles, together, of course with an eclectic assortment of hip cafes and brasseries.

Location description from owner

The Ile-de-France region

Whatever the weather , whatever the season, whatever the temperature , it will be delightfull to discover Paris, just walking by day, by night, under the sun or with an umbrella, it's just a so romantic and interesting town.

All tastes and budgets are accounted for! Information on these, and some of the (perhaps) less well known, but charming and interesting areas of the city, can be found in the several guides kept in this exceptional, comfortable and central studio. "

The western part of the 17th arrondissement stretches from the Arc de Triomphe, The avenue des Ternes, the very romantic Parc Monceau.
If a visit of Paris should obviously start with the Champs Elysees, then Tour Eiffel, Louvre, Motre Dame, Orsay museum and Chateau de Versaille
do not miss the Jacquemart Andre Museum and Nissim de Camondo Museum altogether close by the studio

“Perfect place to stay in centre of Paris”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2016

If you're looking for somewhere quiet, clean and with reasonable rates in the heart of Paris. then you've found it here. We stayed here for four nights and had a magical time. The studio is perfect for any couple - young or old; and is literally ten minutes from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees (we walked there every morning!). Janick was most helpful - she waited patiently even though we arrived a little late. Her notes on sightseeing and getting around Paris are simple to follow and better than most travel books. Definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again when we next visit Paris. Tom and Susan

Owner's reply: Thank you Tom and Susan for your so nice reviiew it will be a true pleasure to welcome you again In between take care of you Kind regards Janick

“Summer in Paris”

Reviewed 22 Oct 2014

Our stay at the quiet, clean Niel studio was most comfortable. Located in the heart of the city we were able to walk to many attractions, take public transportation, including to and from the airport. The studio was well equipped for meals brought back from the markets and was close to many good restaurants and cafés for eating out. Thanks for helping make our vacation in Paris most memorable.

“Our stay at the Studio was the perfect Parisian experience!!”

Reviewed 9 Oct 2014

My girlfriend and I rented the Studio for eleven days in September of this year (2014). Although she had visited Paris several times previously, this trip to Paris was my first. On seeing the exact location of the Studio, we were a little concerned about the distance to the major "sites" from the apartment. We also read in several publications that the arrondissement in which the Studio is located was in a "quiet residential area." The location turned out to be ideal for us! We were very near the Metro, and just outside the Studio was a bus stop. (We were about a ten minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe.) Not too far was also a train station. We used all three modes of transportation to those things we wanted to see, which included day trips by train to Chantilly and Giverny (Monet's home and gardens). Regarding Janick, the owner of the Studio, she was a most wonderful hostess! Our flight was late, and there were some unexpected complications, but Janick was very fhelpful and understanding in helping us resolve them. She also invited us over later in the week to her flat for coffee and brioche and even helped us complete the reservation process for a visit to the Eiffel Tower! In closing, let me just say that the Studio was perfect for us. There were open markets in the neighborhood, so we bought fresh seafood, and vegetables to prepare in the apartment. Also in the neighborhood, we found wine shops, several boulangeries, fromageries and shops. Not only did we save money on meals, but more importantly, we got to see how local Parisians live. We also enjoyed being practically the only tourists in the neighborhood and were able to "practice" our French :-). We plan to return to Paris and assured Janick we would stay again at the Studio. We highly recommend that you consider the Studio when you visit. It was a fabulous visit for us, in large part because of Janick and her excellent accommodations!

“An apartment with a personal touch”

Reviewed 12 May 2014

If the welcome and personal attention accorded to us by our host Janick is typical, then she will have made many friends! Not only did she invite us to afternoon tea at her own apartment (just down the street), but she also went out of her way to get us tickets to the Louvre and even drove us all the way to Versailles. Those things were beyond the call od duty! For accommodation close to the Arc de Triomphe the apartment was ideally placed.

“Centrally located and well equipped studio”

Reviewed 10 Feb 2014

Stayed at the studio again when in Paris in December. Janick is extremely friendly and helpful. The location of this studio is excellent and central to everything including the metro and bus. It is a great base when in Paris and the local markets are also in the area. The apartment is clean and well equipped including WiFi. I will definitely be staying again on my next Paris visit and have recommended to my friends here In Australia ended to. Y friends here in Australia

“Excellent studio”

Reviewed 7 Feb 2014

The studio was clean and quaint and located within walking distance to many sights, cafes and public transportation in Paris. The owner was friendly and helpful. She provided a great deal of information about attractions, many maps, routes etc to help make the best of our time in Paris. We were able to experience a little more of the day to day living in Paris by staying at this studio.

“Central and well appointed”

Reviewed 22 Oct 2013

The apartment was conveniently situated for all attractions. There were 2 Metro stations nearby as well as many shops and restaurants. The apartment, itself, was extremely well equipped and Janick is a delightful host. The FNAC shop for buying or collecting tickets is just over the road. Indeed, everything you could want is close at hand - an ideal spot to explore Paris.

“A delightful studio in a great location with a very helpful host.”

The walk along Avenue Neil and then though the courtyard immediately invokes a feeling of upmarket exclusivity. The studio is tiny but very comfortable with a new kitchen and bathroom. There's TV and excellent free wifi. It was our third visit. Excellent value for money.

“First visit to Paris”

Reviewed 28 Apr 2013

Just returned from a wonderful four night break at Niel Studio. The owner, Janick, extremely pleasant and helpful and would highly recommend this studio for anyone visiting Paris, particularly for first visit. Location really good for visiting all of the "sights" and also felt completely safe walking around the area at any time of the day or evening. Would highly recommend and certainly use this apartment again.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your nice review, it should be a true pleasure to welcome you another time I wish you a warm summer Kind regards janick

“Lovely Spacious Apartment for two in the perfect location”

Reviewed 2 Apr 2013

I could not believe how close the apartment is to l'Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysee, no more than a 3 minute walk. You have to walk through a pretty courtyard to get to the apartment block. The landlady is a star, she was waiting for us in the apartment on our arrival. She's put together a book in the apartment with directions to everywhere and recommendations of bakeries and restaurants. It's in the most perfect location, quiet and safe but so central. There's a quaint outdoor market across the street and a supermarket beside it. The apartment is the perfect size, newly decorated and very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. I would return to Paris in a heartbeat and would definitely stay in the same place.
