The private bedroom is fitted with a proper queen size bed, of 160 x 200 as well two bedside tables and a wardrobe, all that one needs.

Our large lounge room has a very comfortable Bo Concept fold out sofa with an extra thick mattress (140 wide), which is used when more than two people occupy the apartment. The lounge seats three, in addition to a separate lounge chair. The entertainment system comprises a Samsung flat screen LCD TV and Blu-ray DVD player, cable TV with English channels, wireless high speed internet and a stereo. A desk is also provided for those that wish to do work from home, even in Paris!

In addition there is a separate dining area that provides comfortable seating for four people.

The chic bathroom contains a bath (a must after a busy day of sightseeing) and shower, with a spacious, separate toilet.

There is heating throughout the apartment and a fan if Paris gets warm.

This stunning apartment faces into an internal courtyard so it is lovely and quiet, and is located on the first floor of a true 1950's Parisian building. There is also a lift.

As we are non-smokers, this is rented as non-smoking apartment.

Crisp bed linen and towels will be provided along basic amenities.

There are also two large cupboards on either side of the dining room which will hold your luggage and any additional clothing.

On the border of the 1st and 2nd, we are in one of the most sought after locations in Paris. Within a 15 minute walk of the most important museums and monuments Paris has to offer, whilst still feeling like a Parisian rather than a tourist. Our apartment is in a traditional Parisian building, in a quiet residential street just around the corner from the historic Bourse, otherwise known as the French stock exchange. We are a 25 minute stroll to the Marais and the very up and coming 10th arrondissement. We are also within a 15 minute walk the Louvre, straight down Rue Richelieu, Palais Royal and the Seine. The Opera is within a short stroll and the major shopping precinct on Grand Boulevards is within this precinct.

Yes there are three metros within 5 minutes and the public bus system takes you to St Germain in minutes if you don't want a 30 minute stroll, and of course many other destinations.

Lovely neighbourhood with plenty of bistros, bars, theatres and shops in close proximity. The Rex, Paris's largest cinema is also just around the corner should you wish to indulge in a French movie.

In terms of check in/check out we are flexible with arrival and departure times, obviously reservation dependant, and have the ability to store luggage should you require

“Awesome apartment - feels like home”

Reviewed 26 Aug 2015

The apartment is very clean, and so comfortable - we just felt so at home here. So many little details were included which were really appreciated; maps of the city, guidebooks, etc, cooking basics like olive oil, salt, etc, and most importantly user manuals and directions for the stove, laundry machine, etc (maybe it's just me, but I found this really helpful!). The apartment is in a great location, we basically walked everywhere. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the Louvre. It's in a great neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and shops around, but down a quiet street that faces an internal courtyard, so it was really quiet. Also, do take advantage of the owner's restaurant recommendations - every one that we tried was delicious. Had a great experience, and would stay again!

“Great place. Right in the heart of paris”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2015

It felt like a home away from home with everything you needed, all beautifully detailed. We were able to collect amazing produce and cook, then sit and relax. We had our 5 year old with us everything was close and a walk away. She was able to have a bath after scooting all day.

“Amazing designer apartment”

Reviewed 25 Jan 2015

Wow. As an interior designer that is always looking for a well equipped and well designed but comfortable apartment for your short term stay in Paris, I think that 17 Rue Saint Marc meets all that. Located so conveniently in the 2nd arrondissement, it is walking distance to the Louvre, Marais, Palais Royale and shopping precincts. The apartment is clean, modern and obviously has a landlord cares about the quality of your stay as there are design, cooking and cultural French books a plenty to plan your days as well as a kitchen equipped with all the utensils you need for a small dinner party. The bathroom is filled with Durance aromatherapy - perfect when you have walked all day in this beautiful city. 17 Rue Saint Marc is definitely a 'have to' for your next trip to Paris.

“What a great place to stay”

The apartment is lovely, light and breezy. All the mod cons you need on holiday; comfy bed, great shower, wifi, loads of guide books, a great host that helps with restaurant bookings. Its located in a great location that its so easy to get around. I can't wait to go back!

“highly recommended this lovely apartment”

Reviewed 24 Jul 2014

My family enjoyed 5 nights in this lovely apartment which is smartly designed, new, clean, and beautiful. The location is perfect, convenient but quite. Comparing with our previous stays in Louvre area and the one near Les Halles, this is definitely a better place! It's near to lots of attractions but located in the quiet residential area. The landlord is very warm and helpful. It's a wonderful experience in all aspects.

“Great location, lovely Apartment.”

We where fortunate to come across this Apartment, it is in a great location, close to everything. It appears that the unit has been fully renovated recently with Quality fittings, the kitchen is a delight for any one who wishes to cook, lots of excellent cooking equipment. We hope to return to Paris again later in the year, and hope to be able to rebook this Apartment again. I highly recommend this property.

“Stunning Apartment and Great Loaction.”

Reviewed 5 Jul 2014

My Wife and I had the luck to stumble across this Apartment , it is lovely, and in a great location, This was our first trip to Paris, and we where so impressedd by the location and the access to everything, lots of great things to do and see, But the best part was the great kitchen and quality amenities supplied, obviously the people who own the Apartment are conisours of good food, as there is only quality equipment supplied. All I can say is, I highly recommend this venue, you won't be disappointed. John Couch, Melbourne, Australia

“Home away from home in Paris”

Reviewed 13 Apr 2014

I stayed in the apartment for 3 days in March and it could not have been better. The owner was very helpful in helping to plan the trip and the apartment was exactly as she had described it. It is stylish, clean and very comfortable. The location, in a quiet courtyard close to a very lively area with great shops, cafes and restaurants, could not have been better. For trips further afield there were lots of convenient local buses and access to 2 nearby metro stations. We spent our days and evenings out in the city and the apartment was always a welcome place to return to. It helped to make our holiday in Paris really memorable and I would recommend it to anyone hoping to find a home away from home.
