“Ideal for families as safe and handy location.”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2013

The apartment is in an area where easy to walk to shops and open markets for great choices of fresh food and fabulous pastries. The area is safe to walk around in with children. The apartment has that fabulous Parisian feel and it's amenities are excellent. The view of the Effel Tower out the window is worth more than one look. It is an easy stroll to the Tower and surrounding parks. It is in a good central area for exploring many of the tourist sights. We would recommend it to anyone.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much. I am glad you enjoyed it all and look forward to welcoming you again. Kind regards Jacqueline

“Home from home”

The apartment is a great base for a stay in Paris. Everything is near from the metro to supermarkets. We had a toddler with us (needed his grippy socks as the floor is super skiddy!) and there was all the things to make life easy - washing machine, iron, cooker, nice and warm. Everything was very clean and tidy and the thoughtful things such as washing powder a godsend, saving you from buying a huge pack and then only using one or two! Would recommend and also stay there again if lucky enough to return. Only thing that was a little annoying was one of the neighbours seems to sleep with the tv on . . . . but it wasn't overly loud, just a slight drone. The lift is TINY, you can just get a small buggy and an adult in, but does the job!

“The view of the Eiffel Tower at night is fantastic”

We picked this apartment as we knew the 7th Arrondissement as a safe area. We were not disappointed, firstly the apartment was very easy to book direct with the owner and her agent Madame Martine was delightful and met us promptly at the apartment even though we arrived an hour and a half earlier than we had stipulated. The apartment is typically French and a great way to experience life in Paris. The flat was very clean and had all the equipment you could need for your stay. It was typically French with wooden creaky floorboards and you entered via a courtyard. Many extras were provided that we didn't expect, washing powder, handwash, dishwasher tablets, toilet roll, and a welcome pack on arrival. The bed is very comfortable and the area quiet although we did use silicone earplugs one night when one of the neighours had their tv going late but by doing this it wasn't a problem. From the window you can see the Eiffel Tower which is lit up at night and has a surprise on the hour for the first time visitor to Paris. (It is much closer than it appears in the pictures) The apartment has internet which is "a nice to have" when travelling for a long period of time. It was on the 6th floor and was serviced by a small lift. When returning to Paris we wil stay at this apartment again if available as it was our 5th visit and the best apartment we have stayed in at a reasonable price.

“Everything you need”

Reviewed 23 Jul 2012

We have stayed in Jacqueline's apartment in May 2012 for a week. This Parisian aparment has everything you need to feel at home in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. You live like a local in this clean, comfortable and centrally located unit. This apartment is a few minutes walk from Champs de Mars, the Eiffel Tower and gastronomical offering of Rue Cler, not to mention that the bus stop and metro station are just around the corner. The apament has all necessary amenities: a fully equipped kitchen with all possible cookware, plenty of closet and storage space, and wireless internet connection. Jacqueline was very responsive and honest during a process of booking, and her friend Martine was very nice and welcoming. And to save the best for last, the kitchen and living area look out past the tiled Parisian rooftops to the most magnificent and unobstructed view of the Eifel Tower. I still close my eyes and see it. Dear Jacqueline, thank you so much for sharing your apartment with us.

“Charming and Modern Apartment in the Perfect Location.”

Reviewed 26 May 2012

This newly renovated top floor apartment (6th EU / 7th US) is located on an interior courtyard in a quiet neighborhood, so it was very quiet. There is a small elevator at your disposal, which was very welcome after walking though Paris all day. Being located in the Rue Cler (1st Arr.), it's just a few short steps to the metro, shops, cafes, several parks, Seine boat/taxis and the Eiffel Tower. The apartment itself had everything neded - a private bathroom with modern fixtures, a separate bedroom with super comfy US queen size bed and pillows, a flat screen TV with cable and a window over-looking the interior courtyard. It also has a walk-in closet with dressing mirror. The fully furnished kitchen has modern appliances and doubles as the Living / Dining room, with a sofa-bed and table with chairs...all with a great view of the Eiffel Tower! The owners agent, Madame Martine was very friendly and helpful!! We would definitely stay here again!!! :)

Owner's reply: Thank you very much, I am really glad you enjoyed your say.

“An amazing apartment from which to explore this great city!”

Reviewed 5 Dec 2011

We enjoyed three very comfortable nights in this immaculately-presented and newly renovated apartment in central Paris. What a great find! The apartment offers a very comfortable bedroom with ample living space and a modern kitchen and bathroom. It is perfectly located with a Metro station and the Eifel Tower just around the corner (an amazing view of the tower from the lounge). I will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone who wanted to explore this amazing city from a central apartment.
