Description

Plas Madog Farmhouse is a siuated on a working farm in scenic contryside in the southern area of the Snowdonia National Park. Plenty of local walks to suit all capabilities. The owners live alongside Bala lake (one mile away) and have private access for sailing, fishing and canoeing and offer this to guests staying at the farmhouse. The small market town of Bala is 3 miles away with it's tree lined high street, a variety of small shops, leisure centre and cinema. Bala lake narrow guage railway runs the length of lake and is very popular with children of all ages. Please note that we do not accept dogs or cats at the farmhouse.

They include sailing, fishing, canoeing, whitewater rafting, moutain biking, hill walking, guided walks, gorge walking, orienteering, forest trails, abseiling, 4 x 4 off roading, narrow guage railways, castles, slate mines, beautiful beaches, gardens, craft centres, The many tourist attractions of both mid and north wales are all within 90 minutes by car.

Parc

This is and area of outstanding natural beauty with small villages and farms and a close knit community of welsh speaking residents. The area is a walker's paradise with an abundance of mapped walks. Bala lake is the largest natural lake in Wales and is very popular with sailing, canoeing and fishing enhusiasts. There is a Watersports Centre in Bala where equpment to go on the lake is hired and tuition courses offered.
