"Just like home after no time at all, and beautifully equipped"
As luck would have it, we chose the wettest Christmas on record to stay at Lancrow; floods all around (we were totally unaffected up on the hill) and dire warnings on radio & TV not to travel anywhere near Cornwall! If we'd listened, we'd have stayed at home - and we're delighted we didn't! From the time we arrived, to be greeted by a Christmas card and a lovely bottle of wine, we felt very much at home. My wife certainly doesn't want to give her kitchen back! It was a real pleasure preparing Christmas dinner in there and the dog enjoyed being with the whole family while all that was going on. She and we also loved the local walks; looking down at the rivers near the viaduct was impressive, especially when we realised that the nearer of the two rivers was actually the road! It's a beautiful location with great views from the house. The bedrooms are spacious and the lounge is massive, yet cosy. We plan to return! Richard
