The apartment has one bedroom and one en-suite bathroom which is beautifully appointed. The lounge has a 42" Plasma TV with English channels, high French windows to the internal patio, which is lit by blue neon lights in the decking creating a beautiful location for an early evening drink before walking to the multitude of bars and restaurants located all over the Old Town of this fabulous and largely undiscovered city.

Visitors always compare the city favourably to any of the major European cities. The apartment is the perfect place to take a break and explore what was recently voted as the Best Place in Spain to live. The apartment has a blow-up king size bed if extra accommodation is required, which would be laid out in the lounge area.

The apartment has only a short and gentle staircase up to the front door. It is suitable for people with walking difficulties as well as for golfers, cyclists etc.

You enter into the kitchen which is white and with clean lines and fully equipped with Dishwasher, washing machine oven hob and fridge. You then proceed into the lounge with large sofa and 8" high French windows onto the internal patio with table and chairs for eating outside.

From the lounge you enter the bedroom and en-suite bathroom with wonderful modern finish in polished slate.

The apartment was purchased by the owners to take breaks in this fabulous city with it's multitude of things to do, from the fabulous restaurants, to the magnificent Gothic Cathedral, to lively bars on the Paseo Maritimo, the walks along the sea front and many other great activities in Palma's 320 days per year of sunshine.

The apartment is no more than a ten minute walk to the beach, shopping areas, Cathedral, Restaurants etc.

Palma de Mallorca

Palma, recently voted Spain's best place to live, is a wonderful city. Without being horrendously busy like Barcelona, the rain in Paris and the peculiar permanent smell in Venice, Palma is starting to come to peoples attention as a truly great European city.

With a population of only 300,000 Palma is not a big city. All parts of the Old Town, the chic Paseo Maritimo and the cosmopolitan area of Santa Catalina are all within easy walking distance. Within that area you will find a multitude of boutique shops, many museums with various themes, some art galleries with world renown artist on permanent display and Michelin starred restaurants to boot!

“5 minutes walk to Placa Major”

Great location with shops and good restaurants nearby. Nice simple little flat: you feel more like a resident than a holidaymaker. Only criticisms are that it feels a bit closed in and we were plagued by ants. But why pay more for a hotel unless you want all the facilities: we didn't. Nearest secure parking proved expensive. Not difficult to find and only 5 minutes walk from the airport bus route. Booking was simple and the owner was helpful and friendly. we didn't see anyone locally, but everything was self-explanatory.

We stayed in this great little apartment for a short break in Palma. The apartment is in a perfect location, with just a short walk to both the sea front, the Cathedral and the main shopping and restaurant areas. However after a day or so, we stayed quite close to the apartment, as there are some great bars and restaurants really close by, and most of them are full of locals, not tourists. Palma is a great city, it was our first visit. Loads to do, whether you want culture with its many galleries or shopping (my credit card bears testament to that) or some great food. Try Lizarran, amazing Tapas!! I would highly recommend this apartment, really modern, comfortable and clean.

Quiet location. Comfortable well planned space. Perfect for short stays to explore Palma. Beware of pick pockets. I saw three women quietly close in around a woman (in a crowded street) one slipped her hand in to a ladies shoulder bag, but ran off with the other two as I called out to warn the lady. This can happen in any city so don't be put off from visiting this interesting City.

Excellent communication with the helpful owner made this a very simple apartment to book. Everything was very straightforward from the reservation through to our arrival. Brilliant location for this spacious first floor apartment. Everything is nearby and transport from the airport is easy or to travel further afield by bus is very easy from here. The kitchen is well-fitted, uncluttered and well-equipped and the enclosed open air patio was a real bonus. Comfortable sofas and large TV, bedroom with low level bed opening onto ensuite modern bathroom with an efficient shower make this a good choice from which to enjoy all that Palma has to offer. There is a fantastic market about 10 minutes walk away, excellent fish, meat, fruit and vegetables - probably the best market we've ever had the pleasure to make use of. The wonderful El Cortes Ingles department store with excellent supermarket in the basement is also just a couple on minutes on foot. The apartment is in a very quiet location which is amazing considering how central it is. Lots of very nice cafes, bars, restaurants etc. within a few minutes walk, all reasonably priced and very friendly. Palma is a fabulous place to visit and if you like to be right in the centre of things but without the noise you can sometimes get in city centres, you won't be disappointed with this choice.

We loved our holiday and the only reason we gave it a 4 not a 5 is that it was a little dark (even with the interior courtyard); it did not ruin our holiday in any way as we were out most of the time. The location is good with great bars and restaurants a hop skip and jump away.

I would just like to say how much we enjoyed our stay in the Apartment last month. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment, as I think it was very well situated in a central location, well appointed and offered overall great value for money for a great stay in Palma. Jem and Tim were polite and very efficient thus ensuring a hassle free holiday rental.

Stayed 10 nights in this modern apartment in the historic old town of Palma and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Based in a residential area you are in amongst the locals which is always a good thing. The location of the apartment is within walking distance of some of the main sight seeing areas such as the Cathedral, Banys Arabs & the port. Our favourites were the wonderful market "Mercat de L'Oliver and Placa Major which was a brilliant people watching place. If you fancy a few days in Palma which is a wonderful city then this apartment puts you right where you need to be and in terms of value for money it is spot in.

“Ideal Apartment in an Excellent Location”

We stayed at this apartment for 5 nights in May and found the apartment to be in an ideal location in the Old Town, very close to lots of local bars and restaurants, whilst also being within a 5-10 min walk of the main tourist areas. The Plaza Espanya is within a few mins walk where you can catch the old train to Soller and then the tram to Port de Soller (28 euros each return), however, if you want a cheaper option, take the 211 bus from the underground bus station at Plaza Espanya, which only costs 3.20 euros each one way (which we did the 2nd time we went to Port de Soller). The large El Corte Ingles is also within a few mins walk, as is the wonderful l'Olivar market, where you can find an abundance of fruit, veg, meat & fish stalls. The apartment itself is well kitted out, although my only (very minor!) disappointment was that the frying pan was on the small side, as I struggled to cook our 2 lovely entrecotes one night, however, they both turned out nice in the end! Would definitely rent this apartment again.

We took the apartment as it is amazing value for money. We had searched for the right location near to Palma old town as we wanted to be within walking distance of everything. After spending hours looking on the internet we chose this one. When we walked in to the apartment it was far better than we expected, really modern and airy with its own outside space in the middle of the City! Clean, spacious, quiet, and within a 5 minute walk of every convenience. Palma is my favourite place and I cannot wait to return this year! We highly reccomend this lovely apartment to anyone.
