AN AUTHENTIC TUSCAN FARM HOUSE APARTMENT WITH WONDERFUL VIEWS

Casa Terra Rossa is a charming first floor apartment within an authentic Tuscan farm house. The property offers the perfect base for a couple, small family or a group of close friends to enjoy a rural Tuscan holiday situated on a family run farm nestled in a beautiful Tuscan landscape.

A SWIMMING POOL WITH A DREAMY VIEW

The large pool sits on a grassy terrace with stunning views over olive groves, vines and Cypress trees. The large decking area has deck chairs, sun loungers, sunshades and an external shower. The pool is shared with just 4 other properties on the farm estate. Close to the pool area is a shaded terrace where you can relax in the shade with a good book or sip a beer or two!

RURAL TUSCAN FARMSTAY

The property is situated on a family run farm which produces an extra virgin olive oil, red wine, honey and a quality salami produced from the prize ‘Cinta Sinese’ pig which carries a certification of quality and guarantees a genuine Tuscan product. The farm produce is also available to buy direct from the owners.

The whole farm consists of 4 residential properties all offering private corners to relax and unwind, in addition to a private garden.

IDEAL FOR A COUPLE, SMALL FAMILY OR CLOSE GROUP OF FRIENDS

The apartment has two bedrooms which interconnect to each other. For example, you walk through the first twin bedroom (this can also be prepared as a double) through to the next bedroom (a door does separate the two rooms) which has a double/queen size bed in addition to a single. The setup is rather cosy, so therefore we recommend the apartment to families or close friends.

RUSTIC KITCHEN/DINING/LOUNGING ZONE

Like so many Tuscan houses the kitchen is the heart of the home, this is where the family meals are prepared, served and enjoyed and the family or group of friends gather around the table to chat and drink wine.

The Kitchen at Casa Terra Rossa is a wonderfully Tuscan with views from evry window over the stunning surrounding scenery. This a typical Tuscan kitchen a place to eat, drink and relax. The typically stone built kitchen is simple but allows for guests to prepare meals at home. There is also a small sofa and a romantic open fire place for cooler nights.

RUSTIC SIMPLICITY WITH ORIGINAL FEATURES

Casa Terra Bianca is simply furnished with a mix of traditional Tuscan furniture and antique pieces. Original features include antique terracotta floors, beamed ceilings, open fire place.

CLOSE TO AUTHENIC HILL TOP VILLAGE

The charming village of Palaia with its Medieval heart and beautiful panoramic views is just under a 2 kilometres away.

The village of Palaia has everything you need to enjoy your stay in rural Tuscany, a couple of bars, a handful of restaurants, grocery stores, bakers etc.…The nearby larger town of Pontedera is just under a 30-minute drive away where you can stock up on the way at a bigger supermarket.

PRIVATE PARKING SPACE

There is a parking space right next to the house. Access is down a leafy lane part of which is surfaced and is easy to navigate. The apartment is on the first floor and is reached by 16 steps. We do not recommend this apartment for anyone who has difficulty negotiating the stairs.

ENGLISH SPEAKING OWNERS AND PROPERTY MANAGERS

The property management is hosted by Marie and Lorenzo of Authentic Tuscany who live in Tuscany not far from Palaia. It is Marie and Lorenzo who will deal with your booking and provide you with the tools to help you plan the perfect break in Tuscany, in addition they are available to answer any of your questions prior to arrival. Giovanna the property owner will meet and welcome you to the property on your arrival. Giovanna lives locally and is a mind of information, she also speaks very good English.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Arrival is from 4.00pm – 8.00pm. However later arrivals can be organised on request.

Departure is up to 10:00am

NOTES ON PAYMENTS

A refundable damage deposit of 200 Euros is required on arrival

Included in the rental payment: Bed linen, towels and final cleaning

Not included in the rental payment: Heating if required

Pets on request: Pet fee 30 euro per pet per stay

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
