Welcome to our beautiful fully furnished pet friendly timber clad lodge c/w 5/6 seater hot tub on the 5* Devon Hills Holiday Village/Country Park situated between Paignton & the historic market town of Totnes. A perfect place from which to visit the holiday attractions of Torbay, Torquay, Brixham, Dartmouth, Teignmouth, Dawlish & the many blue flag & pet friendly beaches of the area, the cities of Exeter & Plymouth are nearby, lovely little market towns like Totnes, Newton Abott & the dramatic scenery of Dartmoor. Paignton Zoo is less than a five minute drive & is also well worth a visit. The lodge is beautifully furnished with everything you need to make your stay in this lovely part of Devon a pleasure.

On site15th century thatched roof coaching inn serving good food, wines & fine ales, just a 5 minute quiet stroll away. This pub is dog friendly inside or out & features sky sports tv & a pool table.

The lodge is situated on the newest part of the park with sweeping views into the valley & the rolling hills beyond. It has its own car parking space adjacent to the lodge, and an extended decking area, to while away the hours..

The 5* park itself is very quiet & relaxing with beautifully landscaped grounds & boasts among its attractions a lovely indoor pool with separate kiddies pool, a sauna & steam room. The Gym at Devon Hills is modern & well equipped with personal trainers on hand if required. There is also a beauty salon & hairdressers situated in the main building.

Free passes for use of the pool & gym are included in your stay at the lodge for up to six people (seperate charges may apply for gym tuition etc). Also on the park you can try Tennis, Table Tennis, Archery & there is a small play park for the younger members of your family.

Dogs are welcome on the park & in the lodge (see below) & there is a lovely large dog walking field/area just 100mtrs from the lodge which leads to a small pond & picnic area. A further field is available at the other end of the park.

Also on site is the Blagdon Inn a 15th century coaching house serving good food & fine wines & ales...The Blagdon also has sky tv & a pool table, all this just a five minute quiet walk from your lodge (dogs are welcome there too, inside & out).

Onto the lodge itself.....which is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom fully fitted lodge finished to a luxurious standard...of course with D/G & central heating if you are visiting out of season...

Complimentary Wi-Fi is also included in your stay & mobile signals are excellent.

Enter into a superb open plan living/kitchen area with vaulted ceilings... the large kitchen is fully fitted including a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine & the all important wine cooler, as well as kettle, toaster & all the other small kitchen essential items that you may need to make your stay a pleasure... oh & nearly forgot we supply a small welcome pack for your arrival.

The spacious & bright lounge area has 2 x 3 seater sofas, a modern electric fire, a 42” flat screen TV with built in freeview & DVD player (we even supply some family DVD,s & board games) ....then onto the dining area which has a large modern dining table & 6 chairs..

Views from both the lounge & the dining area are onto the decking area & beyond to the rolling hills. The outside area itself has a rattan dining patio set for up to 8 people .it also features the 5/6 seater hot tub, outside lighting & a wet storage box..

Through the hallway where you will find hanging space & shoe cupboard are doors leading of to the 3 bedrooms & the main bathroom.

Bedroom 1 (master).. Double divan, large wall mirror, ample wardrobe & drawer space, 32” samsung wall hung tv & door leading to En Suite with a beautiful tiled quadrant shower, washbasin, w/c,

Main Bathroom... featuring full size bath with shower over, washbasin, w/c, .. welcome toiletries are supplied in each bathroom area....

All bed linen, towels etc are provided & we even leave a few childrens games in the wardrobe

The whole property is tastefully decorated & furnished & is protected by smoke & CO alarms & all necessary testing to appliances is to standard. Gas & electricity is of course included

Please note ..2 small/med dogs allowed only.....strictly no smoking within the lodge or on the decking area.... Due to insurance purposes please only a max of 6 occupants per stay...

please feel free to contact us if you have any question about the lodge, park, or area...prior to booking. we have someone on site if you have any issues once there & the lodge/reception area contain many leaflets of things to do... please note covid19.. if you do make a booking & the government does not ease lockdown or re-implements it, that we shall refund full monies paid to us immediately upon request. We have implemented a full cleaning regime between bookings & hand sanitiser is provided in the lodge for your use. Please also be aware that on park facilities as described may be closed or restricted during your stay dependant on the current situation.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Roger (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
