The English Riviera region
Devon is Great Britain’s third biggest county and has a wide range of landscapes. From the moors to the seaside sand dunes, from the buzzing cities to the sleepy coastal towns and villages, Devon can provide an all-round holiday experience.
The cities of Exeter and Plymouth both provide a delightful combination of rich heritage and modern excitement. All the coastal towns have lively harbours and local produce so you can have the real Devon experience.
Devon is also home to two national parks. Dartmoor in the south and Exmoor in the north both provide wonderful walks for the lovers of wildlife and the countryside.
So with two coastlines, two national parks, and two cities, there are how many reasons not to visit Devon? That’s right, none!
Paignton is the perfect location for a family holiday on the English Riviera. It's friendly atmosphere and superb beaches make it the ideal location to relax while the kids are kept amused.
At the beaches you can hire boats and canoes as well as trying your hand at snorkeling, water skiing, surfing, scuba diving and many more activities.
Along the waterfront you are also spoiled for choice by the numerous cafe's, restaurants and there is an abundance of pubs and bars providing an excellent nightlife.
A big visitor attraction in Paignton is Paignton Zoo. Opened in 1923 it is now an education & scientific charity devoted to preserving wildlife from around the globe.

"Great Stay Again"
This is our third stay and this stay was as good as the first.Everything for your stay is nearly in Primley Park there are little extras that make it a real home from home for all the family games, books must also mention the great cream tea which was a great surprise the first visit but very welcome but we are naughty as we would be disappointed if the cream tea wasn't there when we went now ,as we have prov booked for next year even before we went this year. The only thing that could be improved is there is no washing machine and no internet which my boys missed but as you can see this doesn't put us off going and hope we will be able to go for many years to come,we know the area well as we used to have family living in the area they have left to move nearer to us but we still come back,we just need the weather a bit drier next year please.

"What more could you want"
Excellent accommodation, extremely clean everything in working order. Neighbours friendly and informative. Cannot say anything is wrong with this property. Please be aware that it is situated at the top of a very steep hill and so may not be suitable for the more mature person or anyone with disabilities. Having said that it gave us some real exercise and we managed to beat the neighbours record of climbing it!! To sum up we would highly recommend this property for a break in Devon

"A cream tea on arrival"
Just spent two weeks at the bungalow. It is spotlessly clean although the furniture is dated it was warm, cosy and comfortable, a home from home. The views from the sitting room windows are far reaching and splendid particularly at night when you can see pra actically the whole of paington lit up. The owners are friendly and helpful also the neighbours. The cream tea on arrival was delicious and we enjoyed every crumb. Although it is a bungalow there are steps 1.to gain access to the property 2. a few steps inside the property so it would not be suitable for people with severe mobility problems. The hill into paington is very steep and you have to be very fit to try and walk up it (we didn't) The bungalow doesn't have a washing machine, so if your there for a fortnight it does mean that if you've got any washing to do it has to be done by hand. There is an old spin dryer you can use (which we used once and it spilled water out all over the kitchen floor). However it's a good place to stay and central for all the local attractions. We would have no hesitation in booking the bungalow again.
Thank you for the review, we are naturally delighted that Primley Park satisfied your needs so well and that you would come back again soon, we look forward to helping you again.
