Buses for Torquay and Brixham stop one minutes walk away and Paignton's Leisure Centre with its swimming pool is also nearby. "Fabulous Family Holiday!"
With 2 young children (5 and 5 months), we needed a good location, and a spacious and clean living space. St micheals provided all of the above in abundance. Paignton town centre is a 10 minute walk, even with children and buckets and spades in tow, and Goodrington beach is around the same. The apartment had all the amenities required, pots/pans, CD/DVD player, fridge and space for a cot bed and oodles of toys. Our only minor problem was carrying the baby and his accessories up and down the stairs. Wi-Fi access would have been a bonus and if i could feed anything back tot he owner it would be to install this if at all possible - we used the i-pad a lot to find out about things to do in the local area and a better connection would have been useful! There is a car park space available at the back, although with so much to do within walking distance we hardly used the car. Communication and support from the owners was superb, very freindly and would definitely recommend this apartment for other families.
We are naturally delighted that your visit to St Michaels was so enjoyable, the quality of the accommodation plus the great location make for a fantastic holiday at this apartment. We are discussing your suggestion of installing wi-fi with the owners of this apartment and the others we manage where it is not available as it is increasingly being requested by guests.
