The Oceanfront Cottage is located across the street from Kehena Black Sand Beach and just 10 minutes away from the active Kalapana Lava Flow - on The Big Island of Hawaii. It is also close to the Kapoho Tide Pools, Ahalanue Warm Pond, Pohoiki Point and many more sites.

This cute, clean and cozy cottage also has an amazing ocean view from the lanai!

This is the place for water lovers and those who appreciate the natural beauty that Hawaii has to offer.

The cottage is the PERFECT spot to visit Volcanoes National Park - home of Kilauea and the periodic lava flows just a short distance away. We have Hawaiian jungles, tropical rain forests, beautiful coastal views, geothermically heated ponds, snorkeling, whale watching w/ dolphins that migrate to the warm Hawaiian waters from Alaska. During the winter months, you can often see whales out in the water from our lanai just several yards off beautiful coast - in the Kehena Beach area. Many of my tenants tell me that they were able to swim w/ the dolphins as well - and you can too at the world famous 'Kehena Black Sand Beach' !

Did you know that the best and safest snorkeling area is just down the road in the Kapoho Tide pools? You can easily navigate all of these places from our cottage at Kehena Beach.

This comfortable, high ceiling cottage has 1 bedroom, full bath, living/dining area w/ 'food prep area' w/ full sized fridge/blender/coffee w/ coffee maker. (MW & toaster oven are located in utility room 15 ft. from cottage) and a Hawaiian rock BBQ), Wi-fI internet, Direct TV, linen included for free.

If you need a full kitchen, please consider the Whale House.

It has a queen bed plus a comfortable futon in the living room that is the size of a double bed.

For those of you who are seeking night time entertainment, check out 'Uncles Outdoor Hawaii Bar' if you want to sip a beer, listen to live Hawaiian music, eat great food and enjoy a farmers market at the same time.

The Oceanfront Cottage is just 8 miles from Pohoiki Point (surfing area) and the famous Kapoho snorkeling waters are also near by and remain popular snorkeling, surfing and swimming areas. Compare our rates to those in Kapoho - you will love our place.

Kilauea Volcano is < 1 hr. drive where you can walk through Thurstons Lava Tube and look in to Kilauea Caldera.

If you are interested in Yoga, our cottages are located between the two yoga centers in this area at a great rate.

    How do damage deposits work?
