Getting around

Woodlands Close is situated about a mile outside Padstow on the coast road along the North Cornwall Coast line. The nearest town is Padstow, within walking distance, Wadebridge is a 7 mile drive away , Bodmin is 16 miles and Newquay is 17 miles away. The village of Trevone, 1 mile,has a shop with supplies, a pub,beach shop and café/restaurant. St Merryn has more shops with take aways, bakery,spa, surf and wetsuit hire and a number of restaurants and pubs. Trevose Golf Club is in the small village of Constantine where you can hire clubs and play or practise. The restaurant at the club is a great place to eat. As eating breakfast out has become a popular holiday pastime,Padstow is well served with The Cherry Tree café on the harbour front

Interaction with guest

The guest suites are part of the house, we normally are around to greet our guests on arrival, but on the odd occasion when we are not here we will make separate arrangements to leave the key for our guests. if there is anything we can help with whilst guests are staying we are happy to help. We have knowledge of walks, golf courses ,restaurants and places of interest . In the suites we have provided a local large scale map of the area and a selection of leaflets from places of interest

“Gwedhen Cottage”

Lovely well equipped cottage close to Padstow and the beautiful coastal scenery. Warm welcome from Jane who makes you feel right at home. Somewhere where you can sit back and enjoy a marvellous sunset.
