This was our second visit, have booked next year already. Beautiful house in a fantastic location, so much for our 4 children to do ( ages 3-9) photos on website don't do it justice. So peaceful yet not far from busy Padstow. Can't rate it highly enough.

“Trevio Farmhouse – A Cornish treasure”

Reviewed 21 Feb 2013

If quality self catering accommodation in Cornwall is what you are looking for, Trevio Farmhouse will fully meet your requirements. Set in a beautiful location, Trevio Farmhouse is simply an outstanding holiday property. Within a large garden area, the farmhouse is extensively equipped both inside and out. The owners (Judith & Mike) have gone to considerable lengths to ensure that your every need is catered for. The open plan kitchen/dining area is extensively equipped, with everything you need to dine ‘at home’ either inside or on the large patio. The lounge is also cosy with a wood burning stove in a large fireplace. Ideally positioned within easy access to the rest of Cornwall; it’s close to the area’s breathtaking coastline and beaches (Constantine, Watergate, Porthcothan, Harlyn & Treyarnon bays). Padstow is also nearby if you looking for access to the Camel Trail for cycling/walking or restaurants to dine out. A lovely way to relax, peace and quiet broken only by the sound of lambs and bird song; this has kept us coming back in each of the last seven years. I would recommend Trevio Farmhouse as a fantastic place to stay at any time of the year. In summary, Trevio is a superb holiday experience in every respect.

“Absolutely stunning-'perfection'”

Absolutely stunning the property is 5*+ in everything and you will want for nothing. We always look forward to a very warm welcome from Judith and Mike. The property is totally secluded with great views yet only some 5 miles from Padstow. We have been for the last six years and have already booked our 7th next year.Always totally immaculate and nothing is ever too much trouble.Perfection! - Well done Judith and Mike.

“Trevio!!! THE place to totally chill out, remote, but very central, 5***** Luxury!!”

Reviewed 4 Feb 2013

We have been coming here for 7 years now and the house is as new looking and clean as it was on our first visit!! Driving along the track to the house is when our holiday begins, past the lake and bird hide. Judith and Mike (the owners) are lovely people who really care about you having a great time. Nothing is too much trouble!! The wood burner is all made up for you, with a shed full of wood for your use for the rest of the week. The kitchen is superb with EVERY thing/utensils/pans/casseroles/roasting tins provided that means you can really cook as if you are at home!.The beds are very comfy and tastefully decorated. The games room is heated so you can use this in the winter as well. If you are there in the summer there are body boards , buckets, spades etc for you to use. The wildlife is great... barn owls and birds of prey fly around the neighbouring fields. You look out at sheep and lambs who come right up to the fence. The squirrels come right up to the house to nick the bird's nuts, which is hysterical to watch as they hang upside down!. As long as you keep topping up the bird food (provided) you will be rewarded with all sorts of visitors to the bird table including pheasants and red legged partridges as well as the normal chaffinches, robins etc. This is our haven in Cornwall in the winter. The photo's do NOT do this place justice. Best place we have ever stayed at and we will be back again!!! This is in great demand and you have to book early to get a look in!!!! Keep it a secret!!!

“Absolutely Fabulous”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2013

What a fabulous farmhouse. This is the second time we have been toTrevio and as before we were made to feel very welcome by Judith and Mike. This beautiful house has everything you could wish for and more, with wonderful views over the valley and sheep and wildlife as your only neighbours. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and the rayburn makes the most wonderful roast potatoes and rice pudding as well as giving a very warm and cosy welcome after a day out. We love it here and have already booked again for this year.

“Farmhouse Delight”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2013

Trevio Framhouse is an absolute gem. We have been coming here for the last 5 years, it really is a slice of Cornish heaven. The property is very well equipped and to a high standard with all the things you need when travelling with young children. The views and the wildlife around the farmhouse are breath taking. There are lots of amenities close by at St Merryn and several beaches and coves all within a 10 minute drive. Judith is very accomodating and nothing is ever too much, she always makes sure our holiday is superb. This is definateley a 5 star farmhouse!!

“the perfect antidote to the stresses of modern living”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2013

Mike and Judith Ford, the owners of Trevio are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Always obliging. The property has been skilfully and beautifully transformed from derelict farmhouse to a wonderful holiday let. Judith pays great attention to detail. Trevio is always clean and well equipped. It lacks for nothing. Location is excellent, Trevio stands on its own surrounded by fields with plenty of visiting wildlife. There is also a lake and a bird hide. Yet it is within easy access to Padstow with its many excellent restaurants. Local beaches are very good for surfers and for families with children. There is nothing not to like, everyone who visits wants to go back again

“Out of this world”

This place is amazing, we have been going to this place for the last 6years. It is the best holiday accommodation that we have ever been in, it leaves most holiday let's to shame, it is more than it promotes in its write up. The standard is beyond 5star, if you want pure. Class then you need to go hear. And the owners are the most wonderful people I have ever met, they are more like family, it's a credit to them. Great location for getting around Cornwall, there guest book says it all what more can I say.

We as a family have stayed at Trevio many times over the last 6 years a Judith and Mike are a credit to their property. I have never stayed anywhere that is so well equipt. The house is a dream come true, When we are there we never want to leave. The owners keep this house immaculate. and would recommend it to anyone, even families with young children, It had evreything you could wish for and more!!! I would gladly live there if they would let me. The views are to die for the gardens are wonderful, and our children play outside in complete saftey. I would give this house a mark of 200 / 100 Excedllent, what more can I say.

“just love this place”

Reviewed 2 Jan 2013

we stayed at Trevio at the begining of September 2012, this being our second visit, we had previously stayed in February that year. The house is imacculate. The rooms are all very well appointed and tastefully furnished. The kitchen has everything you will need. The location is idylic, it is very quiet and you feel like you are miles from anywhere, but Padstow is only about four miles away and shops, resturants, takeaways and beaches are even closer. The owners of the property are really welcoming and leave a nice basket of treats for you on your arrival, and are very friendly. You will not be dissapointed
