Description

Trevanion is in a really great position, a walker's paradise,it is 10 mins walk from Trevone Bay a lovely sandy beach, and 45 mins walk across the cliffs from the centre of Padstow. By car it is minutes from either. Further cliff walks south towards Newquay, are dotted with accessible beaches and various eating places.

Situated in a quiet cul de sac, the house is actually a bungalow with a loft conversion, and is set in an enclosed and private garden. The ground floor is open plan, with a good sized and well equipped kitchen, dining area for 6, with further generous seating for 6 .

Also on the ground floor there is a bathroom with a walk- in shower with basin and wc, and 2 double bedrooms. Upstairs, there is a further double bedroom, and a family bathroom where there is a bath, basin and wc.

At the rear of the house, the garden has an area of lawn and a good size decked terrace with a table and seating for 6. There is an especially wide doorway from the bedroom

Anyone familiar with the area will know there are numerous excellent eating places, including various Rick Stein options in Padstow and his Cornish Arms pub closer in St Merryn, and Jamie Oliver's 15 in Watergate Bay, about 20 mins drive away.

Trevose golf course is within about 10 minutes drive.The Eden Project is about 35 mins drive, St Ives 45 mins on a good day!

There is now wifi installed. Also a new parking area in front of the house, so very convenient for unloading.

This part of Cornwall has everything. Safe sandy beaches, rock pools, surfing/body boarding, cliff top walks.Plenty of flora and fauna,

several National Trust properties within reach by car. The Eden Project 40 mins drive away, Truro Cathedral and Hall for Cornwall 40mins by car. St Ives 45 mins. The Camel Trail Cycle route, with many bike hire places in Padstow, or Wadebridge.

“Lovely house, garden and location”

As a family of 5 we stayed here during the Easter school holidays. Very comfortable, homely, clean and good quality property. Perfect open plan living layout. Quiet location but close enough to the two beaches and coastal walks. Sun trap garden was a bonus as it was an unexpectedly warm week. Side access very useful for sandy kit. All round ideal property!
