This may not be a holiday 'cottage' in the true sense of the word but the location of this apartment leaves little to be desired for a self-catering holiday.<br><br>Light, neutral colours enhance the warmth of the dark oak and traditional furniture. On the first floor with a nice sitting room with a comfy suite and dining area for two. The bedroom can be made up as a king-size bed or two singles, making this an ideal holiday home for a couple or friends travelling together.<br><br>Across the courtyard from a 400-year-old thatched cottage in a fabulous cottage garden in which you can simply enjoy the quiet and peace of your surroundings. The garden encourages visits from a great variety of wildlife; the birdlife, gardens and sunsets in this area are quite stunning. Oxenton

The small village of Oxenton lies about 5 miles north of Cheltenham with The Malvern Hills in the distance. A quiet location on the edge of the Cotswolds the village is surrounded by farmland and open countryside. The attractive town of Tewkesbury is only a few miles away to the west and to the east you have the Cotswolds with villages such as Kineton, The Slaughters, The Rissingtons and of course, Stow-on-the-Wold.
