Description

Suitable for families, couples, groups of adults alike. We can offer cots, high chairs, bottle warmers, general kids and baby items, garden area, BBQ, as well as the opportunity to help a little on a working free range poultry farm producing rainbow eggs. We also have pigs, peacocks, other poultry, air rifle shooting, camping, tractor driving, you name it! If you have hens, bring them with you - we have a full hennels service too so we can look after your hens whilst you stay! The only thing we cannot accommodate is dogs and cats under any circumstances.

Stones Cottage retains many original features including an open fire and high ceilings. Long range views across the valley and moorlands from every window. The farm itself covers 4.5 acres with two large open fields and many traditionally built wood and stone outbuildings.

Local attractions include the historic town of Haworth itself, a working steam railway, Bronte Parsonage museum, a large falconry & bird of prey centre, local outdoor adventure centre and direct access to many countryside walks with some paths passing directly through the farm. Major attractions such as Saltaire World Heritage site, Bolton Abbey, Skipton Castle and Piece Hall are all within easy reach.

Fabulous cottage, excellent hosts! We booked the cottage for the weekend while we were attending Haworth Steampunk weekend. It was perfect for what we needed. We could park at Oxenhope and get the steam train into Haworth, then after a busy day we had a lovely cozy cottage to come back to. It was the coldest weekend of the year but the cottage was really warm. Kitchen well stocked with equipment and free eggs! Definitely booking again for next year

Why can't I call Emma (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Emma (the owner) a message.

If Emma (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
