The Farm House, as we lovingly refer to it, is fully restored outside and freshly renovated and remodeled on the inside with the most discriminating taste in mind. Located in the heart of “Sheldrake-on-Cayuga”, a charming lakeside community that has been a recreation destination for more than 100 years; you can take a step back in time and enjoy the laid back lakeside community.

This charming Farm House is located within walking distance of Sheldrake Point Winery, Sheldrake Public Beach and Boat Launch, Water To Wine Tours, Busy Bee Market and O’Malley’s Lakeside Restaurant. Just a short 30 minute driving distance to Ithaca, Auburn, Geneva and Watkins Glen. The Farm House is the perfect vacation location to take advantage of both the Cayuga and Seneca Lake Wine Trails, Watkins Glen International Speed Way, and the many beautiful state parks and hikes in the Finger Lakes Region.

After taking advantage of all the recreation available in the Finger Lakes, the Farm House will provide an unparalleled oasis of comfort and serenity. The chef’s kitchen features Viking appliances, Caphalon cookware and plenty of room for multiple cooks and guests to gather and enjoy a meal or casual glass of wine and local cheese. Please inquire about booking the Farm House private chef to prepare a gourmet meal for you and your guests. The dining table, built by a local artisan, comfortably seats 8 guests with plenty of room to spare. Or, enjoy dinner al fresco on the back deck surrounded by a beautifully landscaped back yard.

Farm-to-table experiences abound in the Finger Lakes Region. The world famous Ithaca’s Farmers Market offers 5 market experiences throughout the week during peak season and Trumansburg Farmers Market on Wednesday offers the freshest dining ingredients and unique prepared food to satisfy any taste. Daily Amish markets offer regional produce, meat, dairy and fresh baked goods to sample. And, at the nearby Wine & Culinary Center in Canandaigua, you can taste the best that New York has to offer and learn new cooking techniques at one of their cooking classes.

After enjoying the local sights and a delicious meal, retire to a one of our three stunningly decorated bedrooms in the main house or recapture your youth in the bunk room featuring custom built-in bunk beds. Each bedroom is fully appointed with luxury sheets, bedding and pillows to ensure a restful night’s sleep. The Farm House can comfortably sleep 8 guests.

The three bathrooms are designed to deliver a refuge to recharge and calm your mind. Soak in a beautiful pedestal tub or shower in a custom-designed tile shower and enjoy plush, extra-large towels for 8 guests. Bathrooms in the main house are designed with double sinks, Italian tile floors and artfully designed lighting to enhance your relaxation.
