The England region

Nearby is the picturesque fishing village and harbour of Boscastle,a popular tourist destination. Among the attractions are the Museum of Witchcraft, the walk out onto the harbour pier (stunning sea views),the Boscastle pottery shop, and access to the South West Coast Path. Crackington Haven has a good sandy beach and is a favourite with walkers, right on the coastal footpath. There are toilet facilities near the beach and lifeguard cover in the summer. Although the parking and entrance to the beach are at ground level, Crackington Haven boasts the highest cliff in Cornwall called High Cliff (735 feet high). The village has a small shop, two tea rooms and a pub called the Coombe Barton Inn.Visit King Arthurs Castle at nearby Tintagel, perched on the cliffs in a stunning setting, fantastic sea views, reached via a footpath leading from Tintagel beach. A little further up the coast is Bude beach resort with miles of excellent classic sandy beaches and a huge free open air swimming pool on the main beach. Lots of other attractions in Bude which include rowing boat hire up Bude Canal, golf course, bird sanctuary, ten pin bowling and much more.
