You'll love my place because of the great views, location and comfort. The house is a mix of cottage and modern style, equipped with all the mod cons and everything you need for a fantastic holiday. It's a home from home. Activities available in the village are great walks, golf, horse riding. Within an hours drive of lake Bala, Snowdonia, where you can kayak, abseil and even go on a ride on authentic steam train. Perfect location for visiting North Wales, Chester & Shropshire.

North Shropshire is a beautiful country border to North Wales. There are many places to discover and enjoy but without the stress and at your own pace. Obviously some of the best things to do in the county involve exploring the glorious countryside where you will find waterfalls, mountains and forests. There are also many beautiful market towns to visit such as Oswestry, Welshpool and Montgomery which has recently opened a fantastic Michelin starred restaurant, the Chequers.

There are many country pursuits available in the area and with great possibilities to play golf, go horse riding, fishing and shooting among many other activities.

Oswestry

Pant is a lovely village. The village has a pub, shop, horse riding, abseiling, golf and many interesting walks including Llanymynech Ogof, a copper mine and Llanymynech Rocks Reserve.

The Llanymynech Rocks Reserve has known human activity since Romatimes, when it is known to have had a copper mine. More recently there has been a limestone quarry. At their prime, Pant and Llanymynech had a tramway from the mines down to various kilns in the villages. Pant's state of the art kilns by the Montgomery Canal were used for only a short period after which they were superseded by the more efficient hoffman kiln at Llanymynech.
