“fabulous place to stay, peaceful setting, beautiful room”

Reviewed 8 Oct 2014

Stayed here as a birthday treat with my mother in law. We enjoyed the peaceful location, watching squirrels and rabbits in the grounds. The room was beautiful and kitchen very well equipped. Bottle of wine and biscuits a lovely touch. The use of North Lakes Spa very welcome and used every evening of our stay. Although just two of us, this would be great for a large family get together. Downstairs is a lovely communal sitting room with piano and snooker table. Will certainly come again with family. Visited several locations in the Lakes as well as Gretna and Dumfries.

“Beautiful, relaxing, fun...everything you could possibly need!”

We stayed in the Naseby Suite in May. We needed some rest and recuperation for a couple of days and spent a very restorative weekend recharging the batteries at Orton Hall. It’s an interesting place with a lot of quirks and plenty of history. Good location for getting out and about in both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales too and we used the free membership to the North Lakes Spa for a lovely swim and steam. The apartment is clean & comfortable and has everything you need. We’ll be back again for sure.
