LAS CASAS DEL PALOMAR is a 2 ha farm with two houses: EL PALOMAR I (6 pax) and EL PALOMAR II (8 pax) each with its private garden and a distance of 50m from one house to the other, totally independent and separated by a dense woodland of ash and oak. They are also ideal for groups of 14 people because they are very close and both houses have ample common spaces. A construction to admire, lots of wood and lots of light. A spacious interior design and decoration with very good taste, have all the necessary amenities to have a pleasant stay in nature. The farm full of special corners is a perfect place for the enjoyment of children and for creative play. WINTER: gasoil heating with radiators in all rooms and fireplace in the living room. It is impossible to stay cold in these houses. Both in winter and in summer it is easy to regulate the temperature: thermostat, windows to the south, curtains and shutters. SUMMER: La Losa public pool, 2 km away (very nice, with large green spaces and restaurant service) Las Casas del Palomar offers a cool environment with lots of trees and reading areas, hammock, swings ... "RELAXATION AND RELAXATION "For clients who need rest, we offer the possibility of a retirement stay, enjoying privacy and without taking the car. A 30 minute walk (1.5 km from the houses) you can buy local products in the shops of the area (La Losa or Ortigosa del Monte): butcher shops, grocery store, pharmacy, bakery, fishmonger (Tuesdays and Thursday) and a bar. We recommend especially the meat of the area, as this is an area of livestock tradition. In Las Casas del Palomar we also offer complementary services to facilitate and make your stay more pleasant: home delivery (catering service or roast in a wood-fired oven), cleaning service, laundry, babysitting service, professional masseuse-osteopathy and chiropractor - cooking workshops, bilinguals and guided tours. "ACTIVE TOURISM" The environment of Las Casas del Palomar invites you to enjoy activities in the middle of nature. With the Cañada Real Soriana-Occidental, the mountains of La Mujer Muerta and Peñalara, the ports of Navacerrada, Guadarrama or La Fuenfría, or just the places around the houses you can perform various sports and active leisure activities. From Las Casas del Palomar we invite you to enjoy the possible routes on foot, on horseback or by bicycle. Even flying in a balloon or ultralight. There are trekking and hiking routes for non-initiated or for mountaineering experts at different times of the year. We advise you to inform yourself of the weather forecast before you come to prepare the activities correctly. In El Palomar we have information about the routes and we will put you in touch with professionals for guided routes or walks, as well as active tourism companies that operate in the area. "GASTRONOMIC AND CULTURAL TOURISM" Perfect symbiosis if we talk about Segovia. This city must be walked to appreciate all its beauty, allowing itself to be carried away by its corners, inns, arches and alleys. The special light of Segovia with its colorful sunsets has spectacular panoramas such as the Alcazar and the Aqueduct, or the views from Zamarramala or Veracruz. From Las Casas del Palomar you can plan the days to visit the most emblematic places in the area starting with Segovia, the Riofrío Palace and the Real Sitio de San Ildefonso. Or a little further on, Pedraza, Turégano and Sepúlveda. All of them good to see and good to eat.

Seguimos trabajando para hacer que LAS CASAS DEL PALOMAR sea un lugar de referencia para vosotros y siempre son �tiles vuestras opiniones. Aunque en este caso lo de la mampara nos lo saltamos: en el ba�o de abajo hay ducha y ba�era, en el ba�o de arriba solo ba�era. Lo decidimos as� en su momento. Si en alg�n momento cambiamos haremos obra para cambiar ba�o por ducha, puede ser...ah� queda como sugerencia de posibles modificaciones. �Gracias!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ana (the owner) a message.

If Ana (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
