The fully fitted kitchen area includes a washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob, and the dining area can comfortably seat four. The living area has a large sofa-bed, TV, Blu-Ray player, stereo and iPod dock. From the living area there are patio doors which lead out onto a south facing balcony with table and seating for 4. The bedroom has ample cupboard space and two single beds, and there is a spacious shower room.

The Larnaka District

Larnaca is one of the oldest cities in Cyprus with history but yet has a modern side to it. The seafront of Larnaca with its line of mature palm trees (“Phinikoudes”) is a relaxing leisurely attraction. Bars, cafes and restaurants offering local produce and a variety of world cuisine are located along the Promenade, and you will also find a superb selection of designer and local shops as well.

For beach lovers a range of water activities including diving, fishing and sailing are available locally, as well as the more familiar tourist facilities (Jetskis, Paragliding and Water Skiing). For youngsters of all ages there is a waterpark and Fun Fair in Ayia Napa as well as a multitude of Night Clubs.

For those after some culture there are a wide selection of historic sites in driving distance, including Kourion, Kolossi, The Baths of Aphrodite, The Tombs of the Kings, and much much more. If you are more interested in recent history, a visit to Nicosia and the 'infamous' Green Line is a must, then following the line to the coast and the 'Ghost Town' of Famagusta. Or you can explore the beautiful natural landscapes the area has to offer by foot, bicycle, horse or jeep.

Oroklini

Oroklini village is situated 15 minutes from Larnaca airport and only a short walk away from the local shops, restaurants and beaches.

Set against a mountain backdrop yet only moments from the beach, Oroklini boasts stunning scenery, a traditional Cypriot village character yet easily accessible modern facilities.

Oroklini offers tranquility away from the hustle and bustle, but has all the amenities you might require for a self sufficient break. “A gem”

Great apartment from start to finish. While we didn't have the view we had when we stayed in Oroklini last summer, this apartment surpassed our expectations in every other respect. It was spotless, had everything we required, great air conditioning which is vital in such hot weather, lovely pool and it was nice and quiet. We would return in the morning. Thank you so much.

We stayed in the flat for 10 nights (two adults and two children). Everything was perfect: the location, the furniture, the swimming pool, all the equipment, the balcony etc. The owner was extremely helpful. She provided all the necessary information well in advance, (she even let our kids use the toys of her children :). We definitely would like to go back once. Thank you Jakki again for everything.

“A home away from home”

The Kirby's apartment is perfect for a break away with all the mod cons and home comforts. The apartment is ground floor, south facing and has a superbly sized balcony which gets sun soaked from early morning to mid/late afternoon. there is a nice wide shower, fitted wardrobes so plenty of storage and a nice sized fridge/freezer. It's spacious, clean and well stocked with all the equipment you could need for cooking but with so many good eateries within a 5-10 minutes drive (30 minute walk) you may not want to break out the frying pan! Ideally suited in the village of Orklini (although its more like a small town!) there are a great selection of bars and eateries nearby and a supermarket for all you grocery needs but the real treat is that less than a 2 minute walk from the appartment is Prillos bakery - its like willy wonka's chocolate factory..... but with cakes - and its open 24 hours! Less than 15 minutes drive to the west is city of Larnaca with the Finegoudes sea front where there are outlets aplenty for the tourist including Macdonalds, KFC, Starbucks etc but not much farther in from the coast is the old town with all its traditional cypriot charm. frim the apartment, its a short drive (30 minutes or so) to the east and you're in Aiya Napa and Nissi Beach which is well worth a visit. 45 minutes inland and you're in Nicosia, the islands capital. a little bit like London with shops and bars but some real interesting historical bits too. all in all. the apartment is perfect as a base to explore the Island and we will definately be booking up again next year! thanks Kirby family!

Stayed there in June and can only recommend. Communication with the owner and local representative was excellent, the flat is spotless and tastefully furnished. Has a very nice balcony that is not overlooked by others. Did not use the pool, but it looked nice enough. For the stay in Oroklini I would definitely recommed a car,otherwise you are pretty much stuck. Local buses are cheap but not exactly reliable. I find the flat very suitable for a couple or maybe a family with small kids. For 4 adults I would not recommend the place.

Flat was lovely. It was bright and well appointed. We found everything we needed. The view from the balcony where we ate most of our meals was a glorious yellow meadow of flowers. The weather was warm and sunny. We found lots to do-museums, ruins, music and just watching people! We were glad we had access to a car as the local buses were not very reliable. We are hoping to return soon.

The apartment is in a wonderful location in Oroklini. It is light and spacious, with lots of added extra's for your comfort and entertainment. Big bathroom and shower. All mod cons in the kitchen , a comfy suite to sit on . A pool to cool off in. Who could ask for more There is a scrumtious bakery right on the corner, butchers, supermarket, lots of restaurants to try and bars close by. It is a quaint old town, and only a short distance from the Larnaka Airport and the main highway. We explored, along the coast to Ion Appa, and took a boat cruise to the old Ghost town. Another day we headed the other way to Pathos, and saw ancient ruins on the way. Our trip over the border to Kiarena was wonderful. What a beautiful place and Port. We needed more than a week to explore the Trudos Mountains and Farmagusta. When crossing the border to the Turkish part of Cypress take 25 euros for insurance. It is well worth going to the north. We would visit again and definately stay at the same apartment Thank you very much
