True North Sailing Charters is committed to providing guests with a unique and safe multi day sailing experience. The stage is set with an alluring 50 foot gaff-rigged wooden sailboat, Lille Danser. Help hoist the sails or sit back and relax as we navigate the gorgeous waterways of the San Juan Islands.

OUR BOAT!

Lille Danser is a 50 foot gaff-rigged cutter. Designed after a Danish working sailing vessel from the mid-1800s. With gorgeous woodwork throughout, Lille Danser is a stable full keel vessel ideal for magical moments. A true joy to step aboard and sail into the sunset!

OVER NIGHT STAYS!

Guests will be provided with sleeping bags and pillows. There are additional blankets on board. The boat has a heat source if it is cold. Overnight guests are welcome to bring food and drinks to cook and enjoy. We offer a grill on deck as well as a propane stove top. Cooking utensils and dishes are provided. There is an ice box for keeping food cool. For extended stays of more than one nights, we can often time find marina showers to utilize when necessary.

We enjoy exploring the hundreds of islands in the area take time to row ashore and hike the many trails or beach comb. It can also be fun to pull into a harbor town and explore a village or go out to eat. While wind and weather can often determine our routes often times it is simply up to what the guests would like to do. Some people prefer to anchor out on a remote island. Others prefer to be in a harbor! While on board evenings can be spent reading, playing card games, and listening to music.

Captain Clark is on board at all times to ensure the safely of the vessel and the crew as is required by law. The boat is set up so guests occupy the forward part of the boat and the Captain stays in the private aft cabin of the boat.

The Westsound County Dock is a 7 minute drive from the Orcas Island Ferry Landing. However if you plan to arrive by foot let me know can we can arrange a pick up at the county dock at the ferry landing.
