This lovely house is located in a quiet residential area below castle on the edge of Oliva. This property is legally registered with the Valencian Tourist Authority as Tourist Accommodation under 'Registro Numero VT-37309-V'

The house is approximately 10 minutes drive from the beautiful Blue Flag beaches of Oliva and a 10 minute stroll to the Paseo with its numerous activities including supermarkets, banks, bars, childrens play areas and restaurants.

This lovely light house has been well renovated to a high standard and is well furnished and decorated.

The house is on one level (with exception of stairs to the utility room and terrace) and consists of a twin bedroom at the front of the house with a shower room on the opposite side of the hallway.

There are some nice features including old Spanish tiling in the patio area and a beautifully shelved fire (wood burner) surround. From the hallway it opens out to a large, bright lounge with TV with DVD

The lounge also has a lovely large fireplace with a wood stove.

Off the lounge is a separate dining room which leads on to the modern fully equipped kitchen with a full cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle and coffee maker.

There is a further double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and an internal passage leads out to the lovely enclosed patio.

This is a lovely little interior patio which is totally private. There is a brick built Spanish style BBQ and a table and chairs for 4 people.

Stairs lead up to the utility room (with the washing machine) and large terrace which has views of the mountains behind and the town, from the terrace you can see as far as the Montgo Mountain which is the headland separating Denia from Javea.

The lounge has a sofa bed so this property can accept 6 guests in total, however the current pricing is for 4 guests only, please enquire for further details.

There is normally parking outside the house which is at the top of a small incline and is a short, level walk to the centre of town.

The nearest supermarket is only 2 minutes away and there are numerous bars and restaurants in this quiet area of Oliva.

Oliva is a Spanish market town unlike Gandia to the north and the sea side towns to the south, Oliva is unique with very little tourism, we don't have high rise hotels, kiss me quick hats or nightclubs and discotheques. Instead Oliva offers small bars, outside cafes, fabulous fiestas, moorish architecture, local prices and beautiful, natural beaches. Oliva is located at the the top end of the Costa Blanca and is surrounded by orange groves, mountains leading down to the Mediterranean. Oliva truly is the Jewel in the Crown, come and see for yourself

The house is located in a quiet residential area to the south of the town known locally as 'The Chimneys Area'. Within 3 minutes walk from the house you will find an array of lovely Spanish bar/restaurants, a bakery, a well stocked supermarket, hairdressers, butchers and delicatessen. Approximately 10 minutes walk will take to you the Paseo where you will find banks, shops, supermarkets and the local indoor market. every Friday morning the large paseo transforms into the outdoor market. Traders from near and far offer a fabulous selection of fruit & veg, local delicacies, kitchenware, clothes, shoes, artisan goods and much more.

Getting around

Oliva is located off the AP7 (motorway). The house is approximately 15 minutes drive from Junction 61. Local and long distance buses are available from the paseo and the N332 to local towns and villages on a frequent basis and are very cheap. During the summer months there is a frequent 'Olibus' service to and from the beach. Bus timetables can be collected from the Tourist Office. Oliva does not have a train station. The nearest train station is Gandia (7km) to the north or Denia (15km) to the south. There are several local taxis should you need one

We will give you our contact number on arrival should you need any assistance. We are more than happy to recommend areas to visit and local restaurants/bars. You can check in to the property from 16.00 and we require you check out by 10.00. This is to facilitate the preparation of the property for the next guests. However, dependant on when the following guests arrive/depart we can try and accommodate and earlier check in or later departures. Please note the standard 'meet & greet' fee is included in the inclusive rental price for arrivals during office hours from Monday to Saturday. If you are arriving on Sunday or a Fiesta day, or you are arriving after 20.00 and between 22.00 on a weekday, a extra charge of 30 euros is payable on arrival

Meet & Greet included in pricing however arrivals out out of hours/weekend/fiesta days an additional cost of up to 30 euros per booking is levied. Pets permitted by prior arrangement only. No arrivals before 09.30 or after 23.30. This property is legally registered with the Valencian Tourist Authority under VT-37309-V
