Well equipped and furnished to an immaculate level with all Mod Cons , Electric Shutters, Videocom security, jacuzzi bath,etc. WIFI , Smart TV with some English channels and access to Netflix etc, DVD player

“Our annual trip to Edificio Somar Apartments Olhos D’Agua.”
We are just back from another wonderful stay in Portugal. This apartment has become our home from home each year with great amenities on the doorstep. The addition of free WiFi this year has been great and of course the smart tv (Netflix) which our daughter was delighted with while she was chilling inside during peak time sunshine. We will certainly return next year.

“Perfect apartment in Olhos de Agua, Albufeira,The Algarve”
We have just spent a week in this really nice 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment with a really new modern clean finish, all the kitchen, bathrooms and furniture is a really high standard. There is also a huge balcony with lots of external seating area, plus modern air-con and electric shutters to keep it cool. It's perfect for kids with an outdoor pool plus DVDs and a few books and games for them too, plus the nearest beach is only 10 minutes walk away as well as lots of great restaurants. We really can't find anything to criticise about it, and would recommend and visit again.

“This is our third stay at Edifico Sonmar”
We absolutely love Olhos D'Agua and have stayed in the area the past 6 years for our Summer holiday. This is our 3rd year in this apartment & we love it because it's spacious, 2 bathrooms, large balcony etc. The swimming pool is the ideal size & always quiet in May when we travel. The beach is so close & plenty of shops & bars to choose from. Our only "little" fault is that the TV really needs to be updated & more channels invested in, this would make a huge difference for our daughter & older parties in our group. No doubt we will be back next year. Thanks so much guys. :-)
Extremely impressed with apartment. Spacious, clean and very well equipped. Nice and quiet around pool area and an added bonus having allocated sunloungers. Ideal location near restaurants and 10 min walk to beach.
“Value for money but not 5 star.”
Spacious apartment with fabulous balcony area. Felt that some furnishings were a little 'tired' - sofas were grubby and stained as were spare pillows. Freezer needed defrosting so was difficult to use and washing machine had a strange smell to it. There are no satellite channels (as detailed)on tv, and the tv is so small and outdated it is not even fit for watching dvd's on. We were there in July and the pool area at times was very busy, we struggled at times for space. Apartment is however in a very good location for the beach and village.

The apartment is all it says it is. Spacious, clean, quiet location,5 minutes from beach, shops and restuarants. 1euro for large beer, 6euro chicken piri piri and chips.lots of different restuarants, friendly people. Beautiful clean beach. Rod and Lesley.

“February 2015 at Edificio Somar”
We wanted to escape the English Winter and the Algarve seemed perfect. As we were going to be their for the whole month the location and accommodation needed to be the BEST. Everything you may read about this apartment and its location is spot on and although it was out of season there was no shortage of facilities available. O Manuel Restaurant is a must, try their steak on a stone-a real treat. You cant beat sunbathing in 20 deg on a lovely unspoilt beach just 10 mins walk away so stop thinking about it Just Book It !!!

“5star spacious apartment within easy walk of all amenities in Olhos D'Agua.”
Mick & Brid provided us with the perfect luxury child friendly apartment for our weeks holiday in Olhos D'Agua. Everything was set up and arranged for us from time of booking. Taxi transfer excellent. Apartment spacious so clean and confortable simply the best we have ever stayed in. Location peaceful yet only few mins walk from the brilliant intermarche (large super market with everything from fish market to bakery). Next door to local cafe taxi rank & tourist office. Few mins walk to beautiful beach. Just loved olhos so perfect for familes to enjoy the authentic algarve without the rush of bigger tourist destinations. Yet only 7euro taxi to old town albufeira or near by villamoura if you fancy a change of scenery. Thanks a mil to the long family. We will return.
“Great Spacious Well Equipped Apartment in Relaxing Resort”
I can not fault this apartment, travelled with friend and our two respective boys aged 7 and 3, so the potential for full scale warfare was there... Booked transfer through owners and were met at airport and delivered straight into the apartment by the informative driver who showed us all the amenities such as supermarket, directions to beach etc... driver had keys and showed us how air-conditioning, electronic shutters worked and left us to it. Apt had hair dryer, bottle opener - all the essentials ;-) Children were very happy to find the beach toys in garage, and the little toys in sitting room, DVDs, and kids channels allowed some down time for the children (and adults) post pool and beach and before going out to one of the many delicious restaurants in the evening. Olas D'Agua was described as quiet enough resort but still busy enough that there is plenty to look at and a good holiday vibe going on. The pool at the apartment is quite deep but the older boy loved it while the younger one loved the beach, which is shallow for a long enough way out to allow parents to relax somewhat while kids run in and out of waves. The only thing I could fault with the apartment was I found the mattress hard but this is a personal preference and due to a back complaint that is aggravated by same, and from reading other reviews of Portuguese apartments and hotels it seems that hard mattresses are a common complaint from tourists so Irish people must just be used to different mattress types. Overall the apartment was spacious, clean, beautifully finished, well equipped, within easy access to beach, shops, restaurants, with bus stop and taxi rank at end of row. Owners left v. informative home made booklet with details of all tourist points which was v. helpful. Would recommend to families and friends looking for nice holiday but not to clubbers, or hens... Would book this apartment again without hesitation! Zoo marine worth visit for all and Aqua splash for more adventurous...
“'Awesome Birthday Present'”
We took our grandaughter for a weeks holiday as her 10th birthday present. Couldn't find an ideal venue with any of the large travel companies, who all wanted to charge me for 2 individual apartments, since I wanted 2 bedrooms, So we booked the apartment and flights seperately. Everything was great. The location and the apartment itself was ideal. Very close to the beach, once we found the shortcut, with a bakery, supermarket and excellent restaurant just round the corner. Main bus route to Albufiera or Vilamoura at the end of the road. Lovely pool and very well appointed apartment. Just remember that to pay anyone in Southern Ireland it needs to be in Euros, which isn't a problem, but came as a surprise.
