This new beautifully furnished apartment sleep 2Adults and 1Child as there is a double bed and a sofa bed in the living room. The modern kitchen is fully fitted including oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine & dryer and dishwasher. Bedroom has A/C and there is a terrace overlooking the pool and tennis courts with sea view.

The complex has an outdoor pool , separate childrens pool & tennis court situated in immaculate gardens.

    We understand that you were upset that we were unable, on instruction from the owner, to refund your security deposit in full. We have a duty to ensure that our private properties that are rented out are kept well maintained for visitors use but also that guests take due care during the course of their stay. We understand that accidents can happen and a broken glass would not be charged for however on this occasion the plumbing was working correctly on your arrival, as confirmed by the guests who departed the same day. Once the issue was reported , two days after it was stated to have been blocked , the plumber visited the apartment the same day and found the u-bend was blocked with food & other non toilet paper waste. The full cost of this repair 150€ was borne by the owner and as you state resolved the problem . On the second occasion the same cause of the blockage was found to be food waste , for which photographs were taken as is standard practice for maintenance records when on the rare occasion we have to deduct a charge from guests security deposit. The owner having previously paid for repairs only days before instructed that the cost of this second call out be deducted from your deposit. We informed you of this by e-mail as you had departed the previous day and sent supporting evidence. As the blockage can only have been caused by waste from the toilet bowl into the pipe and the photographs showed clearly that food waste was evident it is fair that you contribute to the cost -in total the repairs came to 300€ for which an amount of 100€ was deducted from your security deposit .

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
