The apartment is situated on the 1st floor of an old historic listed building beside Edinburgh Castle.
Old Town 163 has been newly refurbished, tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard.
While many of the original features have been retained the apartment has been fitted out with all modern conveniences
to make this apartment a unique and comfortable place to stay.
The sitting room is a lovely space to relax in and can also sleep two people on a comfortable sofa bed.From the sitting room windows the view is south facing across the old town to the Pentland Hills beyond.
There are two spacious bedrooms,one with king size four poster bed, the other with two single beds both bedrooms have hand carved dark wood furniture.
The fitted kitchen has modern appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with small freezer box
and all equipment provided for your convenience.
The shower room is fitted to a high standard with a powerful shower, toilet and wash hand basin. There is also a separate
toilet with wash hand basin.

December is a special time with a unique atmosphere in the city, with Christmas Markets, Open Air Ice Rink in Princess St Gardens and the world famous Hogmany Celebrations.
August is also a unique time in Edinburgh due to its world famous International Festival making the city come alive with a wonderful atmosphere especially the Royal Mile with many free street entertainers.
Edinburgh is uniquely situated being built around a dormant volcano called Arthurs Seat which has wonderful views from its
summit which can be walked to by a path.
Edinburgh lies on the Firth of Forth and has its own Dock area where the Royal Yacht Britannia is permanently berthed.
Cramond and Portobello beaches are also nearby.

The two bedroom flat was very clean and well decorated. It was refreshing to come back to the flat after a full day sightseeing. Very convenient location and central to all events. Mary was very welcoming and helpful! Great visit!
