Modern and newly refurbished family cottage in a very quiet North Norfolk Village. This property received excellent reviews from all guests who have stayed with us last year - we were fully booked from March through to October - reviews, further information and feedback are viewable on our own "Saltmarshes-holme" site. Guests particularly loved the spaciousness of the property, its quality fittings, its quiet location, proximity to the fantastic village pub as well as the endless potential the beautiful North Norfolk coast offers. Close to village pub with children's playground. The property has a large secure grassed garden, off road private parking for 3 cars, and a large block paved driveway. Inside the 3 bedrooms consist of a master bedroom with a super king bed and ensuite bathroom, a family bedroom with a kingsize bed and a bedroom with 2 single beds. All bedrooms have ample storage with chest of drawers and wardrobes. We provide bed linen but do not provide towels if booked through this lettings site.There 3 toilets, an ensuite bathroom and a family bathroom. The Showers in both bathrooms have just been upgraded to provide a high pressure experience!The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped for entertaining and includes a dishwasher and tumbler drier. The lounge has a woodburner, and very comfortable sofa and arm chair seating for 8 guests. There is free wifi throughout the house, new smart TV's in kitchen and lounge. The house has central heating throughout. The bright and specious conservatory is south facing and opens out onto the patio and rear garden. There are views across the saltmarsh to the sea.The cottage houses a gallery of wildlife images taken by the owner in North Norfolk - also viewable through our photography website "focusonthewild" where further details of this property can also be viewed.Perfect for families looking for a quiet, safe location to holiday with easy access to the beach or for those walking or birdwatching in beautiful North Norfolk.

For a cottage that costs a lot in our opinion first impressions are very very poor. We arrive after check in time to find two of the beds not made with pillows and duvets strewn about. There was no us… More

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
