Very Good

“Fab find”

Reviewed 14 May 2018

Couldn’t have been any better. Accommodation excellent, cosy, warm, clean and the doggies were very relaxed. Balcony and garden area in front added to the great surroundings. Lovely walk along granite way with breathtaking views. Anita was helpful and very friendly. A very special find. Thank you so much. We will be back.

Owner's reply: Many Thanks for the great review. Look forward to seeing you again.

Anita was an amazing hostess, location was fantastic and accommodation was outstanding. We will definitely be staying again. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Owner's reply: Many thanks for the fantastic review. Hope to see you again.

“Great Value”

Reviewed 8 Apr 2018

The weather was really quite bad during our stay, but we can definitely recommend. The property is clean and very cozy, Anita was very helpful and the surrounding area is stunning. We particularly enjoyed watching the 2 bunny families just outside the mobile home and our trip to the Meldon Reservoir.

Owner's reply: Thanks for the good review, so sorry the weather was not better.

“Storm Brian!”

Reviewed 24 Oct 2017

First time as a family (& puppy) in a static caravan. Very well equipped, spotlessly clean and Anita had even included blankets over the seating for the kids/dog. Lots of room and we survived storm Brian! Incredible access to cycle paths and moorland. We will be back, wonderful cosy, warm and dry stay despite storm Brian!

Owner's reply: Many Thanks for you review. See you again soon...

“Family holiday”

Reviewed 24 Aug 2017

It was a lovely place we staid. Anita, was very friendly and gave us a nice welcome. The place we staid was lovely clean and tidy. And I was impressed that she had food items there we could use. It was comfortable and situated in a lovely quiet area too. We will definitely stay here again. And I recommend people to stay here to. Thank you Anita

Owner's reply: Many Thanks for the great view. Hope to see you again.

“A great place to stay”

Very happy with the accommodation, clean and tidy. With everything you could need for your stay. Situated in a lovely location and only a 15 min walk to the nearest Pub. We were made very welcome and would definitely like to return in the future.I would have no problem recommending to a friend.

“Warm & comfortable base”

Reviewed 26 May 2013

Lovely caravan, compared to some we've stayed in. Well designed with plenty of space - a sofa each and one to spare! A dining table looking out over the garden and central heating which was great given May's inclement weather. One suggestion would be to have individual reading lamps in the bedroom, as they are both controlled from one switch so if one of you reads late then both lights have to be on. A good base to do some walking on the high moor and easily accessible from the military road from Okehampton camp. Castle Drogo is not far away and worth a visit.

“Fabulous quiet retreat in a superb location”

Reviewed 23 May 2013

Our family stayed for a short weekend during the ten tors event that my son was participating in. With direct access to the moors and a cycle path, we couldn't have asked for a better location. We really loved the peace and privacy here that you can't find in an ordinary caravan park. The owners couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and we are definitely planning a return trip when the sun comes out!

“Excellent value for money, lovely setting good clean accommodation”

Reviewed 6 Apr 2013

Stayed here whilst visiting family in Devon, Ned and Anita were very friendly but also left you alone to enjoy your stay. Caravan was spacious and very well decorated making it a lovely home from home. We took our dog, who enjoyed all the walks right on your doorstep. This holiday was very good value for money you would find it hard to find such a peaceful setting away from all the crowds but near to many attractions, we will definitely be visiting again!

“warm n cosy, clean, friendly hosts and fantastic surroundings”

Reviewed 29 Dec 2012

Shorts break during the October Half Term. All the amenites you require for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Anita and Ned our hosts were very friendly and willing to accommodate any of our needs. My daughters loved leading the ponies and donkey home and enjoyed grooming and feeding Dylan the donkey in his stable. Access for walks on the moors is fantastic. We will return to this wonderful hideaway.
