Description

This large studio (single room) condo has everything. Five minute walk to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way and the ocean. Close to town but on quiet shore road. Sleeps 2 comfortably, can accommodate 4 with queen size pull-down Murphy bed and sleeper sofa. In case you're not familiar with a Murphy bed, it's a "real bed" with a mattress and box spring that folds up into a cabinet permanently affixed to the wall. This makes the condo feel quite roomy during the day. Has kitchenette with standard size fridge, dishwasher, top burner, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker. There is full bath with shower and tub, front porch, outdoor gas grill, laundry in building, one onsite parking space, and bicycle storage. Within walking distance to beaches, restaurants, galleries, museums, nightlife, shopping, deep sea fishing and boat tours/ cruises. Sorry, no pets.

Getting around

Once there no need to drive, 5 minutes walk to trolley with connections to all local attractions. Trolley can even take you to Kennebunkport for an afternoon of sightseeing and shopping, or to Wells to visit the nature reserve with its wildlife and walking trails. These places are also easily reached on a bicycle, as the coastline is relatively flat and the roads have bike lanes.

Interaction with guest

We own three units in the complex, all listed here - 2 studios and a one bedroom. Please check them all out. Renting multiple units works great for larger families or couples vacationing together. Everybody can be close by and still have their own space. We are often there, staying in one of the units and enjoy meeting our guests. When not there, we are always available by phone or text and eager to make your stay the best possible.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
