"Lovely stay in gorgeous, "typical" Cotswold cottage"
We had a lovely stay at Longwood House, a picture postcard Cotswold cottage. The house is very well appointed and equipped in a fantastic quiet location (if a little tricky to locate). Would definitely recommend it to others.

"Wonderful accommodation in beautiful village location."
All three generations of our family really enjoyed our stay at Longwood House. The property is beautifully decorated, with a very country feel. Quality furnishings have been used throughout to give a very cosy but elegant feel. The kitchen is very well equipped it even has a coffe machine and the local supermarket sells capsules for it. The aga is very simple to use. The village is so pretty and has lots of public footpaths, and the local playground was a big hit with our granddaughter. We had a great BBQ in the garden and all equipment needed was available for our use. We had a fabulous Sunday lunch at The Fox which is just a minutes walk from the cottage. I would recommend a visit to both Dalesford and The Cotswold wildlife Park. The golfers amounts us found a local course to play and a visit to Wick House Hotel for a spa treatment would also be recommended. Shopping in Stow on the Wold was very enjoyable. Lots of unusual shops and fab tea rooms. All in all a very enjoyable weeks holiday.

The area of the Cotswolds, indeed looks like, what I imagine Heaven to be. Staying at Longwood House was the icing on the cake! Everything about it was so lovely. Decorated beautifully, wonderful location in Stow-in-the-Wold, very comfy beds, luscious towels and linens, beautiful front and back yards........what more can I say? Very gracious owners, and the company they go through, Jigsaw Holidays are very, very nice. Only one mention about stairs......they are steep, in the house, and the bathroom is up one level. We are all in our 70's and did not find it a problem.

"The most lovely cottage in the most lovely village, tranquility itself, exactly what I had hoped for, thank you."
I was looking for a cottage as beautiful on the inside as it was from the outside, I found it in Longwood House. The interior is beautifully arranged across all 3 floors of the property in neutral tones with wooden floors and well appointed bathrooms and kitchen. The gardens provided quiet peaceful places to sit comfortably and enjoy the lovely April sunshine. We came home reluctantly, after 3 fabulous days, refreshed and revitalised.

Had a great stay at Longwood House. It has been beautifully appointed house and well looked after. In a small village however located close to many scenic towns, there is plenty to do. Dont miss the local restaurant/bar (The Fox Inn) and the incredible organic farm shop. Expensive but a nice break in the Cotswolds. Note that there is only two bathrooms and no toilet on the ground floor. Also parking is limited infront of house but plenty of spaces on the main street.

"Cosy, comfortable, convenient, and clean"
Travelled as a family group including 18 month old grandson - 6 people in all - for a long weekend break. We found Longwood house very comfortable, warm and cosy, and spotless. Longwood house is in a very quiet location with a very good pub 2 minutes walk away. Stow and the other villages are only a short drive away. The house is very comprehensively equipped and I cannot think of anything that might be missing - games, books, dvds, wood for the burner etc are all available. All the instructions for using the heating, Alpha range etc were very clear and easy to follow and we had no issues. Cooking with the Alpha range for the first time was a fun experience!Be aware the stairs are pretty steep so may be a challenge for the elderly. Parking is OK for 2 VW Golf sized hatchbacks but if your cars are larger then probably only one will fit with the second having to park in the lane - not an issue as the lane is very quiet and there is space. Organising the trip through Jigsaw cottages was made very easy because Jigsaw are very responsive and we had no issues at all.

"Girls time away"
Fantastic house we all wanted to move in!!! Could do with bath sheets being given instead of bath towels would be a small criticism. In a beautiful location with a wonderful gastro pub and five mins down the road the most exquisite farm shop ever called Daylesford. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
