An immaculately presented one bedroom apartment located within Grand Ocean Plaza, in the stunning central location of Ocean Village, providing unequalled facilities to the discerning visitor. The South facing apartment looks out onto impressive views of the Old Town, Moorish Castle and the Rock of Gibraltar from a large terrace fully equipped with dining table, chairs, plus reclining sun loungers to enjoy the al fresco lifestyle. Inside this light, modern, well equipped apartment you will find full air conditioning/heating and a comfortably furnished open plan living room providing both a dining area and fully fitted kitchen. Additionally, the living room opens out directly onto the sunny terrace. The double bedroom provides ample built in wardrobe space including numerous coat hangers.

Alternatively, relax and unwind whilst making use of one of the seven swimming pools and six open air jacuzzis set in lush, sub-tropical gardens or for the more energetic there is the 26 metre heated

During the Summer Season short stays of 4 or 5 nights will be considered to infill availability between bookings.

The Ocean Village, Gibraltar region

When holidaying in Gibraltar, take advantage of everything it has to offer. A trip up The Rock is a must and is easily accessible by taxi, on foot, as part of a bus tour or via cable car. Here you will be able to enjoy breathtaking views. Come face to face with the Barbary Apes and explore both the Great Siege and World War II tunnels plus St Michael's Cave. Alternatively take a ride to Europe Point at the other side of Gibraltar to view the Trinity Lighthouse, Shrine of our Lady of Europe and the impressive Mosque of the Custodian of the Holy Mosques. In addition to all this why not venture out on a boat to experience a Dolphin/Whale watching or even deep sea fishing excursion or simply learn a new skill such as Scuba diving or sailing at one of Gibraltar's excellent specialist schools. Plus, don't forget that it is a mere 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) across the Strait of Gibraltar to the northern tip of Africa, making a day trip to Morocco a very worthwhile adventure. Gibraltar is a VAT free location so if you enjoy shopping, excellent deals can be found 5 minutes walk away on Main Street especially if you are interested in purchasing jewellery, perfume, tobacco or spirits. En route you will cross Casemates Square where you'll find the Gibraltar Crystal Factory. Here you can watch the glass blowers at work and purchase their beautiful products. Unwind in the evenings at one of the numerous excellent restaurants and bars located close by or perhaps be tempted to a flutter at the Ocean Village Casino followed by drinks on the impressive 5 star floating hotel. Whatever your tastes, Gibraltar is sure to have something to offer everyone.

Ocean Village Marina is situated in an attractive central location surrounded by shops, international restaurants and bars, a casino, champagne bar and nightclub plus a superb 5* luxury floating hotel. It is a short walk or 2 minute taxi ride from both the airport and the Spanish border.

“Lovely apartment”

My stay was one for business so my main priority was that I needed an apartment convenient for everything. This apartment did not disappoint. It had everything you could need provided and was very comfortable and clean. The host, Elaine, was excellent. She greeted me on arrival and was very helpful and informative, plus provided a great welcome pack so I didn't have to rummage around for basics on arrival. The apartment itself is centrally located so very convenient for all the amenities and also only a very short taxi ride to the airport (also in walk-able distance if you didn't have much luggage). The only down side was the noise from, and the view of, the roundabout. The apartment itself is on the second floor, but I was unable to completely block out the noise. It didn't cause too much of an issue, but thought it best to mention. Also, I was unable to make use of the pool as you need to check in with pool security, and they weren't available after 6.00pm (as mentioned was on business so not back in time). Would stay here again in the future as overall a very pleasant experience.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for all your positive comments. I''m sorry that the little extra hustle and bustle as people were going to and from work disturbed you. However, this is easily eliminated by closing the excellently double glazed patio doors. Most guests find the view of the gates to Casemate Square, the Moorish Castle and the day to day comings and goings of Gibraltar a positive experience. With regard to your comments relating to pool access; registration is a five minute procedure which can be done anytime on your initial visit to the pool facilities between the hours of 07.00 and 19.00, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. In addition Ocean Village security office is manned 24 hours a day. Had you raised your concern during your stay, I would have easily been able to clarify all this with you at the time. I'm happy to hear that your overall experience was a very pleasant one and that you would stay with us again.

A delightfully appointed and very well-equipped flat with excellent facilities. Within comfortable distance of the old town and new marina facilities, and the helpful and accommodating hosts made for a faultless stay.

Elaine and John the owners are great, they met us on arrival and showed us around and even left a nice bottle chilling in the fridge. The apartment is spotless and very comfortable, combined with the use of the pools on the complex I would say you would not want to move. The apartment overlooks the casemates so you do not have to walk far to be in the centre of town. All in all a lovely holiday and excellent owners.
