Casa Isabelita is a brand new, cozy and contemporaryhome that sits in a private guarded community within walking distance of Lake Arenal. This cozy home sits in a quiet guarded community, in the middle of a forest. Excellent place for "earthing" an "forest bathing". The surroundings will help you detoxify from your day to day. Many of our guests mention a peaceful and restful night's sleep. We have experienced the same and appreciate it very much. We want to share that with you. Go out to adventures and come home to a serene space, away from crowds. Central location to many activities from volcanos to Zip lining to Cloud forests.

Equipped with a security system, Free WiFi, cableTV, AC, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, 4 bedrooms & 5 beds. The area has restaurants, a bank, gas station and convenience stores. Arenal volcano, hot springs, Rio Celeste,& Zip lining activities, all within 45 min drive. Playas (beaches) Del Coco and Hermosa are 1.5 hours away by the Liberia airport.

The moment you enter the home the energy is peaceful and serene. We are located inside a private community with a security guard. The community is off the main road 142. The house is 45 minutes from the tourist sections of La Fortuna and it has more of a local quiet homey cozy feel. As you get into the main entrance you will encounter some sections paved and some on gravel or unpaved. It is part of the beauty of the area.

El Corral Steak house in Aguacate (where the house is). Rio Piedras, to the west, and Nuevo Arenal, to the east, have several local Tico restaurants as well. Most activities are in La Fortuna, 40 minutes from the house. Wild life is experienced and appreciated around the house property and surroundings. Howler monkeys and beautiful birds are heard and seen in our backyard. The main floor opens to a spacious kitchen with granite countertops, beautiful cabinetry, modern appliances, kitchen cookware and all you need to prepare family meals. The tap water is safe but we added a water filter as well. There is also a dining table, living room space with comfortable couches and a bathroom on this floor. Clean towels and toiletry is provided. The showers have hot water on demand. There are ceiling fans and AC throughout the home. The upstairs floor has 2 large bedrooms and a small bedroom. The master bedroom opens to a balcony that allows you to enjoy your morning coffee/tea (provided) while contemplating the lake views and hearing and seeing many different types of birds, like the toucans for example. There is a second bathroom on this floor as well. The bottom floor has a 4th bedroom, ceiling to floor glass panels/walls. The guests have expressed their total satisfaction to open their eyes in the morning and feel they are in the middle of the forest with the greenery that can be appreciated in this room. There is an AC unit on this floor as well. The house accommodates large families of up to 8 guests. Baby playpen and air mattresses are also available. Located in a quiet family oriented private guarded community. Totally connected to nature, this home sits in the middle of a "bosque" (forest). Casa Isabelita is a well maintained and clean home for you to completely enjoy your visit. There are several beautiful beaches in Guanacaste on the Pacific coast. We love Playa Tamarindo, Playa Conchal, Playa del Coco and playa hermosa, which are about 1.5 to 2 hours west from the house. Casa Isabelita is 1.5 hours from (LIR) Liberia airport and Walmart, and 3 hours from SJO (San Jose/Alajuela) airport.

The community infinity pool is available to the guests until 7pm. It can be accessed by walking to the backyard of the house and following the walking trail 30 meters from the house. It can also be accessed by car by going thru the guard house. The marina is about 500 meters within walking distance from the house. 2 large Kayaks are available to our guests for no cost. The community has 24 hour Security. Both owner and property manager are readily accessible.

Why can't I call Jennie (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jennie (the owner) a message.

If Jennie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
