The living/ dining are is spacious with the table seating up to 12. There are french doors leading out onto a patio with un-interrupted views of the landscape. Although fully centrally heated a wood burning stove helps to make the room very cosy.

There is a large digital television, ipod dock and DVD/CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with a four ring gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

Although remote, Scotchcoulthard is not isolated. It is possible to be parked in The Metro Centre, Newcastle, Carlisle, The Lake District or Scotland within the hour.

There are three cottages in total and this large cottage is ideal for a couple of families with plenty of space.

The farm is set within 180 acres and is surrounded by splendid scenery with magnificent views and not another inhabited dwelling in sight. We welcome dogs and our own will welcome you. We don't charge extra for dogs and there is no restriction on number.

We have our own produce for sale (pork, beef and lamb when available).

For the adventurous child there are stream beds to walk and play in, woods to make camps in and space to bring a tent and camp out. There is storage for bikes and we are just off the Pennine Cycle route through Kielder Forest.
