Rated 5 STARS by Trip Advisor with 65 reviews to date, this spacious, characterful barn conversion is in a quiet rural area, yet close to blue flag beaches and pub, making it ideal for families looking for a high-quality holiday home with lots of space & things to see and do.

The house is beautifully furnished and has been specifically designed for multi-generational family groups. The games room with snooker, darts, rings, TV & DVD / other games is a big hit with everyone. The kitchen/diner is perfect for dinner parties and the 30' lounge with 50" wide HD TV, comfortably seats 12 people. All beds have soft hotel standard mattress toppers and most rooms are en-suite. Northrepps is approx. 2 miles to Cromer which is great for golfers (Links golf course) fishing, crabbing, sailing, walking. Northrepps is a typical Norfolk village, with small quiet lanes, miles of open countryside, quaint flint stone cottages and The Foundry pub is just 5 mins walk away. It is extremely quiet, apart from the owl who lives in the church tower opposite!

The Lounge has a wood burning stove, fifty-inch plasma HD TV with Digital Freeview and blue ray DVD. The Games room has a leather sofa, TV, DVD, Snooker table & cues, bristle dart board, rings, dressing up box, & many games. Stair gates are provided as is a bolster seat and a travel cot as well as a traditional cot.

“Perfect place for a family break”

The Granary was ideal for our needs ... the living space was large enough to allow everyone to sit in comfort. Plenty of place for the little ones to play ( they loved the games room) ... ideal seating arrangement for family meals around a huge table. Bedrooms were great with plenty of baths and showers for all. The location was excellent and within easy reach of the beach and a short drive to the steam railway . All of our group, young and old, had a wonderful time.

“Dream Holiday for Every Age!!”

We have just returned from The Granary after a fabulous family holiday with ages ranging from 15 months to 75 years and everyone of us enjoyed it. The house is perfectly furnished and very spacious. Good kitchen and living area for the adults and a superb games room for the kids as well as endless places to play hide and seek! The house, including comfortable beds, is very well equipped and maintained. Combine all of that with a very friendly village pub serving excellent food and you have a great combination: pub is both child and dog friendly. We only scratched the surface of things to do in the area, so will need to go back, but particularly recommended are Rock Pool Ruumaging and Fossil Hunting on West Runton beach, Overstrand beach itself and Fellbrigg Hall nearby, one of the most underrated National Trust properties. The Granary is ideal for a combination of families or, like us, a rare chance to get everyone together from around the country. We shall certainly return!!

“Wonderful house and location”

This house is really lovely and has everything you need to enjoy a break. The kitchen is fabulous with all of the crockery and cutlery etc. you could possibly need and the games room kept everyone happy. Our group ranged in age from 1 year old to 92 and everyone loved the short break we had here. The Foundry pub is only about a 100 m walk and the friendly staff served nice food and drinks at reasonable prices. On our last night we had an Indian takeaway from Masala Twist in Cromer which was very good. Cromer is only a few minutes drive away and the local walks from the house are lovely. We would highly recommend this house.

This accommodation was superb for our weekend family gathering of ten adults and a baby, very spacious, clean and comfortable, plenty of room for everyone. The Games Room in particular was very popular, well placed for the family to remain together, but there was also the Sun Room for peace and quiet if needed. The location is ideal, quiet but in easy walking distance to the beach at Overstrand. The Foundry Arms pub,a few minutes walk away is very welcoming with excellent food and service. Would happily return.

“Stunning house in a beautiful location”

The Granary felt very welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and it was spotlessly clean. There was plenty of space for everyone (6 adults, a 15 year old and 11 year old), with the games room providing plenty of entertainment. The village was picturesque and very quiet. We visited the local pub for a drink - the nice weather meant we were able to sit outside in the beer garden and soak up the relaxing atmosphere. This was the perfect location for our family holiday and the owner was very helpful prior to our arrival.

“Great accomodation with wow factor in lovely location - ideal for family get together”

Just returned from a family get together at the Granary to celebrate our parents golden wedding anniversary and have to say what a great choice the Granary was. The booking and payment process was seamless and smooth and the landlord provided plenty of information beforehand (as well as being very flexible in turns of early check-in and late check-out). On arrival - in addition to the wow factor from just walking into and looking around the accomodation - there was a card and bottle of Cava for my parents which was a really lovely touch. The accomodation over three floors was more than big enough for the twelve of us (8 adults & 4 children) and never felt cramped even when we were all downstairs. The games room with snooker/pool table and dart board was a particular hit. The location was great - quiet pretty village, just a very short drive into Cromer, and not much further into Sheringham. Would be great for exploring north Norfolk if only we'd been able to fit in a longer stay.

We stayed in the Granary in June and had a wonderful holiday. The house is the cleanest holiday home I've ever stayed in and it was spacious, comfortable and very well equiped. Nearby pubs and beaches were outstanding. A really incredible holiday home that I would recommend to anyone (even friends!).
