Fabulous fully furnished 2 bedroom short let near Summertown, Oxford with all utilities included and weekly linen change. Fully equipped for a short or long stay.

The best North Oxford short let. This is a stylish and comfortable two-bedroom apartment in Oxford furnished and decorated to a high standard, offering excellent accommodation for up to 3 people. The flat consists of an open plan living room and dining area with balcony, main bedroom with double bed, second single bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. It is located in the prime residential area of North Oxford, close to the Summertown shops and restaurants, with a frequent bus service to Oxford city centre, 3 kms away.

The living room is south-facing with large windows creating a light and spacious living area. It is furnished with a comfortable 2-seater sofa and armchair plus a contemporary glass table with four chairs in the dining area.

-The living room opens onto a balcony overlooking the communal garden below.
-The kitchen is fitted to a high standard and is fully equipped with everything you might need; the bathroom combines bath and overhead shower.
-The main bedroom is south-facing with a double bed, flat screen TV and ample wardrobe space.
-The second bedroom is a comfortable single room.
-Attractive private gardens, shared with the other residents.
-There is a 1 car garage to the rear of the property available to guests.

North Oxford, consisting of Summertown and St Giles, mainly covers the fork of leafy Banbury and Woodstock Roads. Owned for many centuries by St John's College, the North Oxford area is considered to be the most affluent part of Oxford with large sprawling houses and many of Oxford Universities most beautiful and historic colleges nestled amongst private schools such as St Edwards and The Dragon School. Summertown is the perfect place to base yourself during an extended stay in Oxford with high end and budget supermarkets along with fashion and interiors boutiques.
One route to town, along the canal, takes you to vibrant Jericho, with its independent shops and cinema and on to the train station and central Oxford.

Eating out in North Oxford is a real pleasure with The Old Parsonage, Gee's and Browns restaurants along with many other independent and international restaurants and bistros. The smell of fresh coffee and croissants coming from the many independent delis in the morning is a particular pleasure. The Cherwell Boathouse, along the River Cherwell is the perfect place to work up an appetite with a ride on a punt, the unique row boats similar to those found in Venice and Cambridge, before lunch from their delicious menu.

Attractions not to be missed include the famous Ashmolean and Pitt Rivers Museums, each housing some of the world's most fascinating and historical artefacts.

“Bright and airy apartment close to Summertown”

The location is very convenient - only a short walk to the Summertown shops. And the walk into the City centre is quite manageable too (as long as you want to hit your 10,000 steps a day). The apartment itself is very comfortable and the south facing balcony was very welcome on a series of gorgeous spring days. The balcony and the 2nd bedroom are both very small, but the apartment was a great place to stay while we visited friends in North Oxford.
