“Perfect for our needs in every way.”
A fantastic property. We were so pleased we booked this early as many at the Topper Nationals needed to travel miles every day. We however had a leisurely start and a 5 minute walk to the sailing club.
Lovely cottage in a quiet residential area of North Berwick and minutes walk to the main town meant you do not need to drive about looking for a parking space! The house was cosy, tastefully decorated and had a everything we needed. It also had the much required wifi,an essential nowadays. I would definitely recommend this house but be aware that the bathroom is rather small and may not be suitable for larger people.

I had a great stay here! I was worried what tiype of things to bring and if there would be shops nearby but I didn't need anything basically - There was everything you needed and much more! This house is better kitted out than my own home! Loved it! Plenty to do - so much games and WIFI. This holiday home definitely exceeded my expectations! Thanks for letting us stay! From Jodie

“A beautiful holiday home situated in a stunning part of Scotland.”
I can highly recommend Gilder's Green to anybody in search of a peaceful getaway. Such a clean, cosy, well decorated home. There are plenty of games, books etc within the cottage and the kitchen is well kitted out if you do fancy cooking whilst on holiday. If not though, North Berwick hosts some beautiful cafés, pubs and restaurants. We also went swimming in the local pool and took advantage of the amazing surrounding walks, I would suggest everyone walks up nearby Law hill and visits the lovely beach which is also close by. All in a pretty amazing place to go for a holiday.

If you go to North Berwick, we did as a family with to teenaged daughters, please consider to stay at the beatifull, clean and well equipped Gilders green.Gilders green is a quiet cottage near all facillities in North Berwick. It's also a good point to go to Edinburgh.

this was everything I hoped for-comfy and well equipped with lots of great touches for a new property-welcome basket,books,games,wi-fi etc with excellent parking and just a few minutes walk to the middle of town with lots of good restaurants and shops

The booking was straightforward and communication was good. The property was spotless and well equipped. It was ideally located for exploring North Berwick and the wider East Lothian and was only a short walk to the train station, making Edinburgh city centre only 30 minutes away. The beaches and park in the town are great for children and there is a wide selection of shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

“Excellent holiday home with a real holiday feel, clean with all mod cons”
I booked Gilders Green last minute and the property did not let me down. I was traveling alone while having friends stay over night at different intervals. I felt at home straight away and also felt very comfortable and safe in the property alone. Gilders Green really was home away from home with games and lots of DVDs for those rainy days.. The property is close to the train station and to North Berwicks High Street. I would recommend anyone to stay at Gilders Greens. I am already planning to stay again later on this year. Excellent customer service from the Property owners to ensure a comfortable stay. It's a gem off a find and I miss it already....
