Sea view cottage. Dishwasher. Canoe + rowing boat with electric motor. 30 meters to the sea and 70 m to pier/swim. Fiber-based Wi-Fi (250 Mbit/s, unlimited megabytes). Washing machine, refrigerator/freezer, floor heating in bathroom/shower. Water toilet. Private parking.

Located in Roslagen in the middle of the Stockholm archipelago. Lots of uninhabited islands nearby to visit with boats provided.

3 meters from floor to ceiling in most of the cottage. Living room and kitchen/dining area. Patio door from living room to terrace (18 m2) overlooking the sea. Outdoor dining furniture + sun chairs. Outdoor Weber grill.

Bedroom with high quality spring beds: 1 double bed (200x160 cm) + 2 single built in bunk beds (200x90 cm each). Recommended maximum occupancy 2+2 people (4 in bedroom or 2 in bedroom and 2 in living room in a top quality bed sofa 160x200 cm).

Newly tiled bathroom (8 m2) with shower, floor heating, washing machine and water toilet. Hallway has built-in wardrobe.

Easy access to lots of uninhabited archipelago islands where you may explore, fish, bring picnics etc. Good fishing area (no license needed). Rowing boat with electric motor + family size canoe for 2-4 persons included. Beautiful nearby areas for forest walks.

The garden borders a meadow. Private parking next to house. Sheets, towels, Wi-Fi/internet included (250 mbit/s, unlimited megabytes) as well as electricity and water.

Calm area. The property was originally developed in 1911. The surroundings are a genuine small archipelago village.

2 km from the cottage there is a public ferry that can take you to several of the nearby islands. The coastal city of Norrtalje (15 min from cottage) has many stores, restaurants, super markets, banks, post office, movie theatre, museums etc. Norrtalje/Stockholm bus stop (SL Stockholm Local Transit) is 350 meters from cottage.

Within 30 min drive: Furusund (Astrid Lindgrens summer home), three 18-hole golf courses, horseback riding, museums, living Viking village. Ferries to Åland (Finnish island) with Finnlink/Silja Line, 20 min from cottage.

Driving distances: Marholmen (restaurant, spa, playground, beach) 5 min. Penningby Castle 5 min, Norrtälje 15 min, Furusund 20 min, Kapellskär harbour (Finnlink/Silja Line ferry line) 20 min, Vaxholm 50 min, Stockholm Arlanda Airport 55 min, Stockholm city center 60 min, Uppsala 70 min.

Television: 40" Smart-TV (Apple-TV) via fiber Wi-Fi (250 Mbit/s) as well as a DVD/Bluray player.

Please note: During the high-season (mid April to mid September) we rent only weekly, Saturday to Saturday. The rest of the year we have 3 days as minimum stay and you may check-in and check out any day of the week.

No pets please. No smoking in cottage.

TIPS ON GETTING TO US:

Fly to Stockholm Arlanda Airport located 65 km from cottage (Sweden´s largest airport). Many international car rental firms are found here. Car is recommended but you may prefer bus from Arlanda Airport/Stockholm City to the cottage (you change bus in Norrtälje to Hysingsvik).

No smoking indoor. Beds will already be made upon your arrival, ready for use. We kindly as tenants to remove sheets from bed before departure. Price is including sheets, towels, electricity, water and departure cleaning. Rowing boat and canoe included in rent. Saturday is change over day during the summer season. Change over day during spring and autumn season are flexible.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Olof (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
