Location description from owner

The Languedoc-Roussillon region

Nimes is a charming Roman city oozing sophistication, beauty and culture.
You will love the tiny, twisting pedestrian streets filled with boutiques eager to be discovered, the cafs piled onto pavements, the shady squares pulsing with restaurants hidden around each corner and the dramatic fountains which dispel the summer heat.
Remarkably preserved Roman buildings amaze at every turn. Indulge yourself, sitting in the shade, with a glass of chilled ros in hand, gazing in awe at Les Arnes, one of the best preserved Roman amphitheaters in the world. Relax and gaze at the beautiful Maison Carr while devouring ice-cream in an adjacent caf. Enjoy strolling along the impressive Rue Jean Juares, exploring the magnificent Jardin de la Fontaine.
Take in the music of the city. The vibe, the elegance, the way of life..

“Fantastic apartment, Fantastic location”

Reviewed 8 Feb 2015

I enjoyed my first stay is this apartment so much I couldn't wait to stay again. This apartment is very modern and tastefully decorated and contents are exceptional quality. We used the terrace constantly; sitting out into the wee hours enjoying the local produce and wine, it was like having another room. This apartment is advertised as central but I was amazed how central!!! The only public transport I used was the train the to beach, The trains are very heavily subsidised during the holiday period and only cost 1Euro each way. Great day out without too must cost. I particularly loved sitting having coffee the roof of the library, maison carre, watching the world go by. Looking forward to visiting again in 2015
