Tram and Piazza Garibaldi: The new Tram is an absolute must! It makes Nice look different, and the same... After all, back in 1953, there was already a Tram. What they have done in 2007 is remarkable. It already belongs to the city. Place Garibaldi (1 minute from my apartment) has also been changed, for the best, I must say. The arcades look even more beautiful. Such a romantic place. This part of Nice is just so beautiful.

Bus and email: All bus fares to visit Eze, Monaco, Menton, Cannes, Vence and the villages in the back country are at € 1,5 ! It is the same price in Nice itself, with buses or the beautiful Tram.

Do not hesitate to ask me any question about Nice. I've been a resident many, many years, and I still go there as often as possible. You'll also find more details on my website that I update as often as possible. Rain or shine, Nice is a masterpiece.

“beutiful apartment sunny terrace”

Reviewed 14 Nov 2016

loved staying here, in the heart of old town nice, beautiful and a sunny terrace, well equipped apartment will visit again and again

Thank you very much. I'm very glad you enjoyed your stay in Nice. You are most welcome, merci. I'm currently in Nice ( November ) and reading your review on the terrace, and there is lots of sunshine !

“Brilliant break in well-equipped studio - Nice old town!”

Reviewed 1 Oct 2015

Just back from a sunny week at this CONVENIENT, CENTRALLY LOCATED studio. Only footsteps away from shops, bars, restaurants, Cours Saleya, beach and all the lovely things Nice has to offer. Minutes also from trams and buses, to other parts of the city and beyond; convenient for the 98 bus to Nice airport, when it's sadly time to leave (6 euros) Buses to other places cheap at 1.50 - St Paul de Vence/Vence, Villefranche and Eze ( Jardin Exotique at top of village - recommended) Lots of great eating places - La Petite Cocotte steps away from studio - can see from terrace. Also in rue Droite and next door to each other - Le Petit Lascaris and Chez Palmyre. A short 5 min tram ride north of the city we enjoyed the most - Voyager Nissart, both for the lovely French food, and the price ( a 3 course menu can be had for 16.90 euros). The studio was equipped with everything you might need - particularly nice was that it had a bath as well as shower, a washing machine, and of course the wonderful terrace where you could sit and observe all about you, or just reflect on this wonderful life, with a glass of chilled Provençal rose in your hand, and a loved one beside you! In summary - BRILLIANT, and a big thanks to owner Pierre, and Matthew who met us on arrival/departure - WE WILL BE BACK!! Sally-Ann & Peter Hossack, Sussex

Thank you, Sally-Ann and Peter, for your visit. I'm very pleased you enjoyed staying in Nice. True, public transportation in Nice is cheap and well organized (rarely on strike !). I'll be there soon and can't wait. A bientôt, Pierre

“Studio in Old Town - quintessentially French!”

This studio is lovely. You can eat your breakfast on the verandah, go out for the day and come back to sit out with a chilled glass of something and reflect on what a great day you've just had, its a real suntrap, The bathroom is large and the kitchen equiped with everything you may need. The studio is in the Vielle Ville, near to resturants of all types and prices. Supermarkets are close at hand, along with independent family owned shops and the fabulous flower market. There is a wealth of places to go in Nice and the surrounding area, all of which are easily reached on foot or by the excellent bus and rail links. The recently completed garden in the cente of Nice is spectacular with beautiful fountains and plants.Shopping in Nice is a delight. There are designer shops equal to those in Paris and London and also the usual stores, the same the world over, something to suit everyone. M husband and I have now visited Nice seven times. Its one of our favourite places and each time we return, we rediscover old haunts and always find new ones to enjoy. We have actually stayed in this studion on three occasions. Come and see for yourself, that its so much Nicer In Nice!..

Merci, Patricia, I'm happy you see in Nice all that I see myself, and yes, the new garden between Garibaldi and Massena square is amazing. There used to be that bus station ! I agree there's a lot to do, either it be shopping or just relaxing. Thank you very much for your kind words, and A bientôt, Pierre

“Perfect studio for an exquisite stay in Nice's old town”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2014

My husband and I enjoyed the most wonderful vacation staying in this charming, spotless, well equipped studio in the center of old town in Nice. The room was bathed in sunlight, the bed very comfortable.. And most enjoyable was the large terrace where We could sit and sip our coffee quietly in the morning.... Also I must mention an outstanding bathroom with a tub! We are really looking forward to coming back to nice and staying again in this studio. A true gem....
