“A lovely little apartment with everything you need.”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2013

We very much enjoyed our stay in Nice and it was made more enjoyable by having this lovely apartment to stay. It had everything that you need and unlike other apartments we have stayed in they do not take away useful items that previous guests have left e.g. coffee, pasta etc. We did see a previous review which commented on the lack of air con however we stayed when it was 30 c + and all you have to do is open the windows and put one of the two very strong fans on and it is very comfortable. We did not find it very noisy at all. The beds are extremely comfortable including the sofa bed which definately made a difference to quality of sleep. There is even good reception of a couple of childrens channels on the TV which kept our son occupied as the tea was cooked and bags packed!

“Excellent value for central location in Nice”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2013

Trawled Internet for apartment in Nice and feel really fortunate finding this lovely studio. The space was ample for ourselves as a couple exactly as advertised. I was impressed flat was exactly as advertised in a quiet residential area about 5 minute walk to Promenade Des Anglais and all it's glory. There is a bakery directly across from apartment for fresh baguettes etc;so we saved a lot of money having breakfast and lunch in the apartment which made Nice a much more affordable destination for us. We were lucky enough to benefit from previous occupants leftover beach parasols, shaving gels, shampoos, teabags, coffee etc; which also saved us a few Euros. Having stayed in a 2 star hotel previously we both agreed categorically we would be return guests as we loved our des res in Nice.

“Brilliant Location”

Reviewed 18 Nov 2012

Centrally located on a quiet street but only 5 minutes away from the sea front, shops & restaurants. The train Station was only 10 minutes walk away. We had a great time, the Apartment was very clean and tidy with everything we needed to prepare and eat meals, nice touch was the bottle of wine on the table on arrival! I would recommend it to anyone. many thanks Donald.

“Great little apartment!”

Reviewed 5 Jun 2012

This is a lovely, well-furnished studio apartment in a great location in Nice. There is everything you need here (full oven, washing machine, coffee maker, etc) and the owners are great, very friendly, as is the lady who meets you on arrival. Our only concerns are that the bedroom is up on a mezzanine floor under the roof and has very little headroom (5', 150cm or less!), and that this apartment will be exceptionally hot in summer. We stayed in late May and the temperatures outside were 20-23C and it was just about ok; with the windows open it would be noisy, unless you are used to living in a big city. Other than that, it was a pleasure to stay there and it's great to say a rental where everything is included - I personally hate it when there are extra charges for linen, cleaning, etc etc. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come again - as long as it wasn't too warm!
